Tuesday’s try-on session is going to be jam-packed with lots of the latest fall styles from Walmart. I have thirteen items packed into this one post, so grab a beverage and get ready to be blown away by these picks. Some of the items are dressy, and some of them are casual, but they are all at a great value and highly fashionable and stylish.

Most of these items aren’t carried at my local Walmart, and they have been ordered online. If you live in a large city, you might find them in the stores or order and have the items shipped to the store for pickup.

I order almost everything online, and it is delivered quickly. Walmart features FREE 2-day shipping and returns for purchases over $35.00. When I need to return something, it is a simple online process, and I print out the FREE shipping label. Or, I can choose to return my items to the store if that is better for me.

You can find all of the latest fashions here, and you can search by essentials or categories. I have several brands that I love at Walmart, and I just found a new brand that I am wild about. I’ll tell you more about this brand later in the post.

I will tell you the sizes that I am wearing and how each item fits me. I am 5’6″ tall for sizing references, weigh between 150-160, normally wear a med-large in tops, a size 10 in pants and jeans, and a size 9 in shoes.

I am going to show you a photo of each item and give you the link to them. At the end of the post, you will be able to see all of the items if you want to wait and see everything all at once. So, if you are ready, let’s get this post started.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a ivory turtleneck sweater with a blue plaid blazer from Walmart

If I don’t have at least three or four relaxed fit turtleneck sweaters for the winter, I feel deprived. This look is a standard for me, and I love wearing jeans and a turtleneck sweater as soon as the leaves start to change colors. This soft, slightly oversized sweater is perfect to wear on its own, or layered as I did in this photo. Because I knew that the fit would be oversized, I ordered a medium, and I think it fits me perfectly. The sweater also comes in three other colors, but everyone needs a basic ivory sweater for the fall and winter.

This boyfriend plaid blazer is the first item that I am showing you from Free Assembly. I am already a fan of this brand, and I will be making more purchases from them. This is a gorgeous plaid blazer, and I love the look of it. The plaid pattern creates stripes which are modern looking and a great pattern for fall. I am wearing a medium in this blazer, but I will send it back for a large. It fits fine, but I want to wear it with a sweater, so I need extra room to accommodate the bulk.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing boot cut jeans by Free Assembly from Walmart

I love, love, love these mid-rise bootcut jeans. Someone, not saying who, might have worn them for three days after they arrived (true story), but they felt so great that they couldn’t make themself stop. I love the color and the fit, and they have a 32″ inseam, which is perfect for me. These are my usual size 10, and as I said, they fit perfectly! The jeans also come in a lighter rinse and black, and they will be the best $27.00 that you’ve spent in a long time.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a cable-knit turtleneck sweater from Walmart

This mockneck cable-knit sweater from Time and Tru might be one of my favorite purchases this year. I love the relaxed look of this sweater, and I can already tell you that I’ll be wearing this a lot this year. I’ve always been a fan of the classic cable-knit design, and this sweater is a timeless piece that you will be wearing for years to come. I am wearing a size medium, and it is plenty roomy and oversized.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a pair of faux-suede flared jeans from Walmart

These mid-rise faux-suede flares are super soft and comfy. They might look like jeans, but they feel like yoga pants. I love the large flare to these jeans and the five-button closure. These run long at a 33 1/2 inseam, but they are available in a short version also. I am wearing my usual size 10, and they fit me perfectly.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a maroon lace camisole with an plaid blazer from Walmart

I love this merlot colored lace-trimmed cami, and it is only $17.00! This cami is a real steal since it looks so expensive and it is perfect for any holiday occasion. I love wearing this color with camel, green, navy, gray, white, and black, to name a few. It had adjustable straps, which is always a big plus in my book, and it is machine washable. I ordered a large in this top so that it was roomy around my tummy area, and it fits me perfectly. The cami also comes in three other colors, including a gorgeous green version.

I have a love-hate relationship with this long oversized plaid knit coat. The oversized print is gorgeous, and I love the colors. I wish the coat were lined, and it is so oversized on me that it looks like it should be a double-breasted coat. This reminds me of the swing coats from the 50s, but as much as I wanted to love this coat, it is going back. I am wearing a medium, and it is still waaaay too big and oversized for me.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a black skinny jeans and ankle booties from Walmart

The black skinny jeans are also from Free Assembly. These jeans probably fit like they are supposed to fit, but they are a little tight in my book. I ordered my usual size 10, and I know that I have to size up occasionally when I order skinny jeans. So, remember that if you go to place an order. I liked the material and the jeans’ cut, but I just needed to have sized up one size.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a pair of scrunch ankle boots from Walmart

Boy or boy, I do think these boots are sassy. These scrunch stiletto-heeled ankle booties are staying in my closet for sure! I can see myself wearing these boots with dresses, jeans, or maybe even leggings. They will add some pizza and sass to any outfit that I choose. I am wearing my usual size 9, and they fit me perfectly.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a pink oversized sweater from Walmart

You know that I love brightly colored clothing, and this pink v-neck sweater is right up my alley. However, even though I love this sweater’s relaxed fit and the fact that it is amazingly soft, I needed to size down even more. I ordered the medium in this sweater, and it is still too large for me. I debated keeping the sweater since I liked it so much but decided to send it back and try a size smaller. I am crossing my fingers that the smaller size fits.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing black Ponte knit flared pants from Walmart

I am a huge fan of Ponte knit trousers. I especially like this pair since they have a built in seam and a flared bottom. These pants look dressy enough to wear to work, and they will feel amazing all day long. These have a comfortable pull-on waist, and you will be amazed at the quality of these pants. I am wearing a size 10, and they fit me perfectly.

Even though the v-neck sweater didn’t work out for me, this magenta turtleneck sweater by Free Assembly sure did. This sweater is a fine-gauge knit that is super soft, and it fits like a dream. I even like the small amount of poof in the sleeves as a unique detail. The sweater comes in three other colors, and it is a great price. I am wearing a size large, and it fits me perfectly.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a pink turtleneck sweater and a faux-fur jacket from Walmart

The last item that I am showing you today might be the best. I feel like a snow bunny in this gorgeous faux-fur jacket. The snow leopard color is a great neutral that you can add to any outfit, but I think this would look beautiful with a black dress for Christmas. The jacket fits true to size, and I am wearing a medium. If you want to wear it with a chunkier sweater, then you would need to size up.

I hope that you enjoyed today’s try-on session from Walmart. I love being able to do almost all of my shopping in one place instead of having to run all over town, picking up an item or two at different stores. I love finding clothing that works for my budget, but I demand that it be stylish also. Walmart makes it very convenient for its customers to shop, especially since most people have a store within 10 miles of their homes.

OMG. I love the booties and already bought a pair and already wore them to work. Super cute, with a little bit of sass. I received compliments. These booties are comfortable for a stiletto heel. I also bought two of the oversized sweaters. They will look great with leggings. I was very pleased with these purchases from Wal-Mart. Thanks for your blog. I look forward to reading it everyday.

  2. I love when you do posts from Walmart. I do my food shopping there and always look at the clothes just because they are there. If I need an outfit I don’t think oh let’s go to Walmart. But I have found some great items at reasonable prices. I have purchased more things just because of blog posts like this one. Thanks so much

  3. Thanks for the great post! Where did you get your jewelry?

  4. Love these looks and lines! Walmart is upping their game. I just wish Walmart Canada sold the same selection as Walmart USA such as Scoop and Time & Tru. Unfortunately we can’t order on line and ship to a Canadian address either which is a shame. I’d love to be able to use your affiliate links. Can you please let your Walmart rep know? Thanks for your help!

  5. Great looks, and I love the Turtlenecks and the plaid jacket. I wish I could wear those adorable, black boots, I need flats. Great looks.

  6. I think the secret is…you look good in everything!
These all look terrific and I wouldn’t ever guess that they were all from Walmart. Wow!

  7. Catherine says:

I too love Free Assembly at Walmart. The brown corduroy Chore Jacket? Adorable! However BEWARE – my local Walmart is not accepting in-store clothing returns due to COVID. I live in Illinois. Just an FYI.

  8. Elizabeth says:

I had the same question on the turtleneck sweater. I am going to order based on your review. Where did the necklace come from?

  9. Great post! I enjoyed all the variety of looks.

  10. I loved all of these looks. It’s nice that Walmart is stepping up their game. I’ve actually found some cute stuff at Walmart recently and I hadn’t bought clothes there since I was a poor college student newlywed.

    1. I agree, Connie. They have really decided to go all-in on fashions, and it is working.

  11. Wow! You did a great job making these outfits look “high end”!

    1. Thanks, Lori! Walmart has some nice clothing. You have to figure out which brands work for you.

  12. I would love to wear turtlenecks but I always get makeup on them! How do you not do that? I would appreciate any tips!

    1. Ahhh, there is a trick to this, Susan. I use a scarf. I put the scarf over my head and face, slide the turtleneck over the scarf, and then pull the scarf off. I do the same thing to take it off, I just tuck the scarf inside the turtleneck and then pull the sweater over my head. I hate trying on clothing in stores, but if I have to because it is too far for me to drive and take the clothing back, then I put a scarf in my handbag to use.

  13. I love you showing so many items from Walmart as they are so affordable and I feel if I don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for clothing, then I can change it out more often! On the mock neck cable knit sweater, it looks like it fits you nicely around the neck but on the order page, it looks like it is stretched out. Do you feel that it fits nice and snug? Thanks Tania.

    1. Sandy, it isn’t stretched out, but I don’t like the neck on my turtlenecks to fit tightly. I will actually pull and tug on the necks to stretch them out.

      1. Thank you Tania and understandable that you pull and tug as I do that on my sleeves sometimes. Good hint for those tight turtlenecks though as I have one that needs this done but didn’t think to “stretch” it out !!!

        1. Sandy, I do that with the tummy region too. I don’t like anything to show my lumps and bumps, so I “stretch” it out.

  14. Love every one of these looks…Thanks for putting them together and sharing!

    1. Thanks for sharing stylish outfits that are also affordable!

      1. I thought these all looked great and were very affordable.

  15. Those are some great looks. Your second paragraph says the post is sponsored by Chico’s but I think you meant Walmart, right?
