HOW MANY WHITE PAIR OF PANTS DO YOU NEED

Okay, this feels weird. Just for fun, I decided to see if I could take pictures that weren’t on my porch. When you use a camera on a tripod and use the timer you have to focus the camera before you start the timer. The problem is that you have to have something in the picture so that the camera can focus. So, I chose this tree to stand in front of. I focus on the tree, set the timer, and then run and get in the picture. Lol! It is almost comical to watch the whole process. I planted this Birch tree several years ago when it was just a sapling. It is hard to imagine that it has grown into such a large tree already. I have always been intrigued by the peeling bark on these trees and I found a store going out of business that had all of their trees on sale for half price. I can’t pass up a good sale even if it is on trees. Lol! It is a good thing that I didn’t find the store until they were almost sold out or we would now live in the woods. Hahaha! Joe was not as amused and fussed about having to mow around the tree. Ask me if I cared! When I went to work today, the first thing my son said to me was, “mom, why do you have on a hankie?” I had to correct him and say that this was NOT a hankie, it was a bandana. Poor boy just doesn’t know his scarf prints. Lol! I bought this top back a while ago from Cato Fashions and I am just now getting around to wearing it. Cato has lots of Red, White, and Blue right now for the upcoming Fourth of July but, this top is sold out. I did find the very same print in a Plus size dress though, so go here to see that. Also, here is another way that I have styled a bandana print in the past.

I went with all pearl and fringe jewelry with this look. These are not your grandmother’s pearls but a more updated, trendy version instead. Let me start with the Torilyn bracelet that is in the picture before this one. It is a 7 strand pearl and gold magnetic bracelet that is adjustable from 8-8.8″ by taking out an extra link that is removable. The Chantilly necklace is like a grape cluster of teardrop shaped pearls. I love the longer length of this necklace, it is 30.5″ to 33.5″ and it hits in the perfect spot for me. I started to put on a pair of pearl earrings but decided that I had on enough pearls so I went with the gold and cream fringe Nikki earrings instead. This pair of shoes must be one of my husband’s favorites because he always compliments me every time that I wear them. Even after 30 years of marriage, I will still beam every time he gives me a compliment. On the other hand, these have never been a pair that I really loved but I won’t get rid of them because he likes them. Are any of you like that? I have had these for a very long time and they had held up nicely. Probably because I don’t wear them very often. Lol! The brand of this shoe is Nine & Co.

White is the color of choice for summer. It looks so crisp and clean and it really goes well with my french tip pedicure. Lol! I am a firm believer that everyone needs a pair of white pants, crops, ankle pants, or shorts for summer. If you are really brave and bold then you will have one of all of those! This is a pair by Lisette full-length pants c/o the Purple Poppy. This is my favorite pair of white pants for a couple of reasons. They are nice and thick which means that you don’t see through them is one thing. The other thing is that they have a tummy control panel also. I am not saying why that is important to me. Lol!

You all know that I put something about Rodan + Fields here at the end of my posts. I saw this picture today and I thought, “Yep, that pretty much sums it up!” I kid you not when I say that ten years from now you will be wondering what in the world you were thinking if you don’t jump on board with me now! I am not sure why you would ever be scared to take a chance on the doctors! They are already proven, they have already created TWO Billion dollar companies.
