HOW GREAT IS OUR GODIf you have never heard the song ,”How Great Is Our God” by Christ Tomlin, you have missed out. Don’t worry though, I will attach the song at the end of this post. I have no idea why this song popped in my head one night while I was asleep. I often wake up with a song on my mind, but usually I have been listening to the song, or just recently been talking about it. When Prince died, I had Purple Rain invading my dreams. I am thankful that song finally was replaced.

But the funny thing is, that I woke up about 4 or 5 nights in a roll with this song playing in my mind. I didn’t even know the words to the song, and can’t remember hearing it, even though I am sure I have. I finally decided to look the song up, and read the words. I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was on replay in my mind for a reason.

Back in February I applied to a blog related web tool. This is an invitation only tool that helps with links, etc. I waited to hear if they would accept me, but after 1 1/2 months I still hadn’t heard anything. So, I sent them another email asking about the application, and they said it was still pending. After another 1 1/2 more months, still no answer. I finally started asking for an answer; I didn’t care if the answer was yes or no, I just wanted to quit wondering. After about 5 days, I received an email saying I had been accepted. Guess what, now I afraid that it is the wrong tool to use. I’ve done the math and I am afraid that using this site will end up costing me money in the long run. When I was reading the Draw The Circle book, I remember that the author said you have to trust in the Lord, and get out of his way. Since I had asked for an answer, and He gave me the answer, I am going to go against “my” math and instead rely on “His” math. I am getting out of his way and hoping this is the correct direction to go.

I don’t know if this is the reason that the song has been stuck in my head, but I know that my God is GREAT!

Have a blessed Sunday! Be sure to listen to the song, it is fantastic.

    1. Thank you, Mary Ann. I too can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for the blog. I am in amazement how He has led readers to the blog, and that He has led me to do a Sunday inspirational post. It is something that I would have never have dreamed of doing a year ago.

Yes he is! The hardest thing in my life is to just be and let God. I want to fix everything for everybody. I have been gently reminded so many times its not me who fixes all and for that I am thankful. Today as I head to work I say thank you for your post. Connie

    1. I’m a fixer too, Connie. Standing back is one of the hardest things I have ever tried to do. I have to remember to do my job, and trust that the Lord will do His, in His way and in His time.
