HOW DO YOU HANDLE FRUSTRATIONS
Life is not always easy. Everyone knows this I am sure. We all have our share of bumps and bruises that life throws at us. But, how do you handle frustrations?
Granted, all our frustrations are not the same. I have had frustrations that make me want to pull my hair out and then there are those that make me cry. Plunder was having a Black Friday Sale where they were offering several pieces at a great price. The frustration came from trying to order any of the items. There were so many people all trying to order that they overwhelmed the website. They had to put the sale off till Saturday, but guess what? The same thing happened again. This is an example of those little frustrations that just make you pull out your hair. I sat in front of my computer hitting refresh for an hour and just wasted my time.
Then there are the frustrations of watching someone go down a path that you know is wrong. You can try talking, begging, and praying, but they are still headstrong about going down the wrong path. This kind of frustration makes you want to bang your head against the wall. Why won’t they listen? Can’t they see where this is heading?
The frustration of watching someone wither and die would have to be one of the worst frustrations. There is nothing YOU can do to fix them. You can pray and pray and pray some more, but ultimately it is the will of the Lord that will prevail. This type of frustration makes you hit your knees. The helplessness is so overwhelming it might even seem impossible to go about your own life.
We can scream, cry, fuss, or throw tantrums, but it changes nothing. We can plead, beg, and try to make deals with the Lord, but it changes nothing.
If you want to correctly handle frustrations, all of them, then you need to pray. THIS will change something. It will change YOU! The situation may not change, but if you trust in the Lord and pray to Him, He will give you peace. We all have frustrations! We all have stress! Look to the Lord and trust in Him, and He will give you peace.
My Sunday posts are actually my favorite posts. Please share if you agree!!!
Have A Blessed Day!!!
I enjoy your Sunday posts so much!! Thank you for letting God use you and your posts to reach so many!
So
Perfect post — perfect reminder for this time of the year, too!
Thank you! Blessings!
God must have used you to get this message to me today!! i have been struggling with a lot jd frustrations lately at work and I’ve been doing a lot of complaining and have even lost my temper, it’s done nothing to improve the situation or help fix what is wrong it’s only made me have regrets about how i’ve handled it. I need to do what I can and leave the rest in Gods hands!! yet I keep trying to take control of it and only succeed in making myself and probably others feel bad! Thank you Tania, for this message today!
All I can say is THANK YOU; THANK YOU; THANK YOU. Last night I prayed for an answer, and it came to me today in the form of your post.
I look forward to your Sunday posts so much. Thank you for them.
As i read this message, I thought, how did she know. Sometimes unfortunately family get togethers can be frustrating when you have a drama queen in the bunch. I should pray about it, turn it all over to God.
On another note, I tried to also order from Plunder’s Black Friday but kept receiving an error message. Will they try again or is it over?
You are right about family get-togethers, Cathy. Ours was pretty drama free this year. Also, about the Plunder specials. They are going to offer them again on Monday. I know that they are soooo frustrated over the website crashing, but they are going to offer something special to make it up to everybody. As soon as I know what they are doing I will let everyone know.
This is perfect. You writing tells it like it is in a godly loving way. Thank you. The Lord bless and keep you. Have a beautiful day.
Aww, thanks Laurie. That is very sweet of you to say.
I am still trying to order the Lottie necklace and am STILL being told I don’t have a stylist. Any suggestions?
Is the Lottie one of the new Black Friday items? I typed in the name on the website and it didn’t show anything. They are going to try again on Cyber Monday for all the Black Friday items. I know that the Plunder corporation have been dealing with lots and lots of frustrations this weekend.
Thank you Tania for your Sunday posts. They always come when I need them the most. The light of the lord shines through you.
Thanks, Christy. That is a prayer that I pray all the time. That the Lord shows me what to write so that it might help others who are struggling too.
