50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU HANDLE FRUSTRATIONSLife is not always easy. Everyone knows this I am sure. We all have our share of bumps and bruises that life throws at us. But, how do you handle frustrations?

Granted, all our frustrations are not the same. I have had frustrations that make me want to pull my hair out and then there are those that make me cry. Plunder was having a Black Friday Sale where they were offering several pieces at a great price. The frustration came from trying to order any of the items. There were so many people all trying to order that they overwhelmed the website. They had to put the sale off till Saturday, but guess what? The same thing happened again. This is an example of those little frustrations that just make you pull out your hair. I sat in front of my computer hitting refresh for an hour and just wasted my time.

Then there are the frustrations of watching someone go down a path that you know is wrong. You can try talking, begging, and praying, but they are still headstrong about going down the wrong path. This kind of frustration makes you want to bang your head against the wall. Why won’t they listen? Can’t they see where this is heading?

The frustration of watching someone wither and die would have to be one of the worst frustrations. There is nothing YOU can do to fix them. You can pray and pray and pray some more, but ultimately it is the will of the Lord that will prevail. This type of frustration makes you hit your knees. The helplessness is so overwhelming it might even seem impossible to go about your own life.

We can scream, cry, fuss, or throw tantrums, but it changes nothing. We can plead, beg, and try to make deals with the Lord, but it changes nothing.

If you want to correctly handle frustrations, all of them, then you need to pray. THIS will change something. It will change YOU! The situation may not change, but if you trust in the Lord and pray to Him, He will give you peace. 50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU HANDLE FRUSTRATIONSWe all have frustrations! We all have stress! Look to the Lord and trust in Him, and He will give you peace.

  1. Sunday’s are my fav as I’ve said before. Gets me ready for my week.

  2. I’ve just recent found your blog and I just love you! I think you are adorable! This post really hit home for me. My wonderful husband passed away five weeks ago yesterday after a long illness. He was only 59. I miss him terribly but I know he is in a better place and is no longer suffering. Praying and the will of God help me get through this sad time in my life.

Thank you for that post, Tania! I really needed to know that others face the same struggles & need to be reminded of the Lord’s provision & goodness! I had a very rough Thanksgiving at my daughters & have been down & worrying about it since. I know there is nothing I can do to “fix” the situation & must continue in prayer! Thanks for being my “sister in Christ!”

  4. Absolutely love your Sunday posts!

I appreciate all your posts. This post came at an appropriate time. Sometimes we’re too frustrated to remember to pray. Some situations are just so overwhelming you lose your way. Thank you for the reminder.

  7. Beautiful post today Tania. We all need to know you can’t carry the burden alone. Have faith and give it to God. He has the plan and he will give you the grace to make it through. Just pray and listen. He will answer. Blessings on this beautiful Sunday.
