50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELFI have entered into this training program and one of the things it talks about is, “how do you see yourself?” It asked me to come up with 8 words that I would use to describe myself. Then it said to ask others to describe you and to see if their descriptions were anywhere on your list. This is a scary project. I am sure that you would get different answers depending on the relationship you had with the person answering the question. If I ask Joe to describe me then his answers will be different from what my mom’s answers would be.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELFI know for a fact that one of Joe’s descriptions would be obsessive. He has told me for ages that I am obsessive when it comes to things and I have to admit that he is right. He looks at it like being consumed by a project to the point where you can’t think about anything else. I look at it like being the best you can be at whatever you set your mind to. The end result is the same. When I went to Charleston with my Energizer Bunny Friend and Jersey Girl then heard me mention once or twice that I am shy. Both of them disagree with my statement. They don’t see me as shy at all. Try this experiment with your friends and see the answers.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELFA dress is about as simple as you can get when it comes to getting ready. It is one item and you don’t even have to worry about picking out an item that matches. A dress and a pair of shoes and you can walk out the door. As Emersyn has recently been quoted saying, “Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezy.” Lol! I have no idea where that came from!!! I love this dress but I hope you don’t have your heart set on it since I just saw that the website said it was sold out. This came from Cato Fashions a couple of weeks ago. I really liked the colors, they just scream “FALL” to me. I also like just the slit on the shoulder. It is a cold shoulder look but not a huge opening. I am always drawn to a v-neck because it elongates your neck.

50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELFGold, gold, and more gold is the order of the day. The Ashton earrings continue to be one of my favorites. It is hard for me to imagine now but at one time I was afraid these would be too big for me to wear. It is funny how fast your comfort zone can expand. The Rhiannon is the long multi-strand leather necklace with the gold hanging disks and the Keri necklace is the gold square link necklace. The Rhiannon is a boho lovers dream and the Keri is more dainty and refined. Even though they are complete opposites I think they look great together. I also wore the matching bracelet to the Rhiannon, the Scarlett.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELFI am so glad that boot weather has finally arrived. I love knee boots but Joe is not a huge fan. By the end of the winter, he will start to fuss every time I wear them which will be ALL THE TIME! Lol! This was one of my favorite pairs from last year. They are by Marc Fisher and I bought them at the overstock store. I like that this heel is a block style and is not quite so tall as some of my other boots.

50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELFThe Dooney & Bourke Tulip shopper is such a cute purse. I bought mine at the overstock store in town but I found it on eBay if you are interested in it. I love the lighter color and the suede material. I need to clean the bottom of mine because it has some dirt on the corners.

Did you notice my bakelite disk bracelet? This is one of my favorite bakelite bracelets and I am sure it is the colors that I like. The bracelet makes a lot of noise when your arm moves.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELFSO, I am going to ask a favor from you guys. I want you to list words that best describe me.
