Yesterday I showed you four outfits from Walmart that looked great but were budget-friendly. These outfits were great for every day, but none of them were what I would call a Holiday outfit. Today I am showing you two holiday outfits that look expensive but aren’t.

Holidays outfits can range from casual to black-tie and everything in between. You can wear rhinestones and fur, or fuzzy slippers and a Santa Hat. Many people love wearing tacky sweaters and entering contests to see who is the craziest. Some people love celebrating in a pair of Holiday pajamas while sipping hot chocolate in front of the fire.

There is no right or wrong way to dress for the Holidays. But, since Thanksgiving and Christmas only roll around once a year, you probably don’t want to spend a ton of money on outfits that you won’t wear again until next year.

This is my style when it comes to wearing a Holiday outfit. It is casual and festive. I would wear this to a Holiday party at a friend’s house where I want to be comfortable. Most of my friends have informal parties, so I wouldn’t wear a dress. But I would like to wear some bling to look festive, so this outfit works for me.

Update I’ve added a couple of FLASH SALES to my Steals and Deals page. Some go off tonight, so check those so you don’t miss out on the savings.

This charcoal wide neck sequin top is so festive looking, and it is perfect for the Holidays. You could dress this up as much as you want, but I prefer to wear it with jeans for a casual look. The inside of the top is lined, so you don’t have to worry about the sequins being scratchy. I found this top to be comfortable and not heavy or stiff, and I also just ordered the Rose Gold one to wear for New Year’s Eve. I am wearing a large and it is roomy and relaxed, but not too big.

Once again, you gurls have managed to sell out an item. It was in stock last night and is almost completely sold out this morning. So, here are some similar tops that you might like.

This is not a long top, so leggings might not be the look you are going after. However, with a pair of jeans, pants, or a skirt, this top is fabulous.

Adding this black crushed velvet blazer to my outfit upped the festive look. I love wearing velvet and crushed velvet for the Holidays; I think it adds a touch of elegance even when worn with jeans. You could even wear this blazer with a white button-down and jeans, and still, look festive for the Holidays. I am wearing a medium in the blazer, and it fits me great.

I am totally OBSESSED with these high-rise straight-leg ankle jeans!!! These jeans fit me great; they have just a touch of distressing, I love ankle-length jeans, and the frayed hem detail is perfect! I think these jeans look great with ankle boots, but they will look just as cute this spring and summer with flats. I am wearing my usual size 10, and they are a great fit. The jeans also come in black without distressing or a frayed hem if you are not a fan of those features.

I’ve had these black pointy-toed faux-suede boots since last year, and I am still loving them. The pointy toe elongates your legs, and I think they look great with ankle jeans. I am wearing my usual size 9, and they run true to size.

Now, for an outfit that is for those “dressy” events. Occasionally, there are office parties or Holiday parties that call for you to get fancy. If fancy is not your usual attire, then who wants to spend a ton of money for something that you’ll only wear a couple of times?

A metallic gold sweater and skirt are perfect for the Holidays and VERY festive looking. This metallic turtleneck sweater is slightly oversized, which is a good thing. I love the fit of the sweater and the statement sleeves. The long, large sleeve ribbing looks fantastic with the flowy balloon sleeve. I am wearing a size medium, and the fit is excellent.

The statement jewelry that I am wearing is from Chico’s. Chico’s has fabulous statement jewelry, and the quality is fantastic.

The matching metallic skirt is not oversized like the sweater. When I took it out of the packaging, I thought that there was no way that it was going to fit me. This is a body-conscious fit, so it is made to fit snugly to your body. I am wearing a medium and was pleasantly surprised that it fit as well as it did.

The Michael Kors handbag looks great with this outfit. The colors go great together, and you can carry this handbag with jeans also. It is a great neutral that will go with almost anything. The color that I’m carrying is called Luggage, and it is a nice medium-sized handbag.

These ankle boots are soooo cute! You can see the snake print metallic sheen on the heel of these boots, and it looks great with this outfit. The color will be fabulous for fall, and I can see myself wearing these a lot this year. They are a faux-suede material, and they run true to size. If you are between sizes, I would size up a 1/2 size to make sure that they fit.

I love your hair color and when i saw that older photo of you with darker hair, I was inspired to ask my hairdresser if I could go as light as you. I feel like my current color is in between what you used to have and what you have now. Any chance your colorist would share the formula? So I could pass along to mine? Bless you and your daily inspiration, it brings a smile to my face everyday.

    1. Erika, the darker color wasn’t my natural color, I just had her color it darker for a while. I’ve tried to get her to tell me the formula for years, but it is all gibberish to me. Lol!
