HIGH WAIST EQUALS AN ELONGATED LOOK
The neverending task os organizing is still going strong. Heaven help me, ladies, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I know that I have more than enough clothing for three people, but remember that my “job” requires me to have a lot of different items. Just think how bored all of you would be if I only had a small capsule wardrobe. There are only so many ways to wear 20 pieces of clothing before you start saying, “I’ve seen that before.”
I was stuck on the phone this morning for over an hour talking to Verizon Wireless. I am not sure why my data plan is all of a sudden not large enough since my daughter came back to the lower 48. I guess there was something to be said for having her out in the wilderness with no data capability. Lol! I have seriously threatened her if she doesn’t cut back until my new Unlimited plan can take effect on the 14th. Anyway, I decided to start going through my walk-in-closet while I was talking and take out the items that I was going to give away, donate, or sale. I sent my sister a before and after picture, and she couldn’t tell the difference. Then I sent her a photo of all the clothes that I had taken out of it, and she was floored!!! Now, I need to get all of them off of the hangers, and into bags. I piled them all on my bed, and I can’t go to bed until they are cleared off. Lol!!!
It is still pretty outside, but it is a tad cooler than it was yesterday. Days like today call for a cardigan. Cardigans are so handy for adding a small amount of warmth without smothering you to death. I also like how they slim you down, at least visually, and are flattering to wear. I am not sure the exact color of this cardigan, it is one that I have had for a while. I am going to call it brick, or maybe I will call it Tania’s kitchen. It is the exact color of my kitchen. Lol!

These pants are new, and I just got them this last week. They are a high waist pant with a sash-tied belt. The flowy legs combined with the high waist elongate your legs. The pant is machine washable, and I bought my normal size, and it fits great. They come in three different colors; the navy, a black, and a bright fuschia. Are there any brave gurls out there who will order the fuschia??? Here is the link. 
I bought my printed blouse on a trip to Alaska to visit my daughter. I liked the dainty floral print and the small amount of detail that went down the center of the top. The top has a romantic vibe to it, and it looks very feminine. This top is sleeveless, but since I paired it with a cardigan, I can wear it all year around. Extending your clothing into different seasons is easy if you think outside of the box.

I do admire how you are always so put together.. I really struggle with the smart casual look which is what I need for work and I work with a lot of young people whose staple wardrobe are leggings and hoodies so if I turn up wearing anything too dressy they think I have an interview for another job lol. In addition, the minute I try to change my look in any way I get hassle from my daughter who says I am either dressing too old or two young. I can’t win!!

I have always loved cardigans, (maybe it’s a Mr Rogers thing from my childhood) and you look beautiful in yours! I thought of you yesterday when shopping and bought a peach sweatshirt with little pompom fringe around the cuffs and bottom. I told my husband I thought it would be Tania approved as it is very soft, comfy and outside of the box for me!!

Putting all your clothes on your bed is one way to make sure you finish the task! Love hearing about your organization and purging. I watched 1 show of Maria Kondo on Netflix…….haha! Organization is like dieting for me, a life long journey!
I couldn’t go to bed last night until I went in there are bagged everything up. It took me about an hour to get that done!
