There is something about being around horses. As a child, my grandparents had horses, and I used to love riding them when I would go to visit. The rule was that I couldn’t gallop them, but that rule flew out the window the minute that I was out of their sight. Lol! So, visiting Foxberry Farms in Dallas Georgia sure brought back some wonderful memories for me.

My niece loves riding, and my sister and I went out to Foxberry Farms to watch her ride her horse. He has a fancy name, but no one calls him by that. Instead, he is Barney, and he has the best temperament. I remember getting nibbles (aka bites) from some of the horses that I’ve been around, but Barney is chill and mellow. I didn’t get a photo of him this time, but here is a couple of photos of my niece riding him.

While my niece was out riding, my sister and I grabbed a few photos. You can always find a scenic background at a horse farm, and these were taken at a tack store. It was nice of them to have these branded Adirondack chairs and firepit all set up for me. Lol!

Polka Dots have my heart, and I gravitate towards this classic print all of the time. This is a cute ivory and blue blouse, and it looks feminine with the elastic ruched neckline. The split neck is great since that helps to create a longer-looking neck. This blouse hits me at my hips, which is the perfect length. I don’t like tunics that are so long you can tuck them in if you want. I have on a medium, but I think that I needed a large instead. It is a tad tight through the chest.

I know that skinny jeans are not the hottest thing right now, but I love how they look. The GenZ generation decided they didn’t like them and have declared them “dead.” But, since I am not a GenZ, I think that I’ll wear what I like. Don’t get me wrong, I love the loose-fit jeans too, and these skinnies took me a little getting used to since they fit so tightly.

Come fall, these skinny jeans will be called into action all of the time. I love wearing skinny jeans with boots and booties, and I love bootcut jeans also if I am wearing them over the boots. This pair is from the Nordstrom Sale, and they are my first pair of Mother brand jeans. I sized up from my usual size 30 and got the 31s instead. I’ll link to some other jeans for you since some people can’t shop the sale just yet.

This adorable Baguette Shoulder Bag is sooo cute. My DIL immediately said that she wanted this bag because she likes smaller bags than I do. This one is large enough to hold a wallet, keys, lipstick, and a cell phone, but not much more. I love the beige color, and it is one that you can carry all year long. The handbag is only 29.00, so I think that is a great deal!

The neutral espadrilles are a pair that I’ve been wearing a lot of lately. They match everything, and the wedge heel is the easiest heel to walk in. I have espadrilles in navy and red also because I love the style. I am now on the lookout for this silhouette in black, but not in an espadrille. I want it for fall and winter, so I am thinking leather or suede. I am wearing a 9 and these run true to size.

I hope that you liked the photos at the horse farm. Also, I would like your honest feedback on the LOOKBOOKS that I have added to several of my posts. Have you even noticed them, have you clicked on them, do you find them easy to use, are you having issues with them, are they helpful? Would you rather them be in categories instead of an outfit. Basically, I have a lot of questions.

I really enjoy looking at your Lookbook outfits. Is nice to see different ways to style clothes and accessories. Thank you for all your hard work and creativity.

  2. Nice post Tania. Cute outfit. My granddaughter just opened Willow Creek Equestrian Center in Suffolk Va.
Unfortunately skinny jeans don’t work for me. Fat thighs.

I like the Lookbooks and have looked at them. While I am afraid of horses, I think they are very beautiful and funny, and I really enjoyed seeing your niece in her horse. Your outfit is so pretty! Any time you can share real looking pull on jeans with us, I will be so appreciative. My belly button area cannot tolerate regular waistbands for more than a couple of hours, so my regular jeans and pants don’t get much wear time. I like today’s scripture!

    1. Ginger, did you grab those pull-on Jag Jeans that I showed the other day? Those were fabulous!

  4. Beautiful horse!! Very nice pictures of your niece riding him. She is so skilled and brave. Horses were never in our family budget, so I have never ridden one. I love the skinny jeans. Alway will.

    1. She loves horses, it is her only real passion.

  5. I like this look today. The pictures of Barney and your niece are amazing. No idea what Lookbooks is – lease explain. Never heard you talk about them before.

  6. I don’t know where to find the LookBooks. Loved the horse, I had one the same beautiful bright chestnut when I was a girl, 50 years ago! Love your polka dots, some of us just don’t look quite right in very loose jeans so I won’t be going baggy, I’ll probably compromise with a straight leg and like you will be keeping my skinnies for boots.

    1. The lookbooks have been on different posts. I sent out an email on Saturday, and it contained a lookbook and some sales. Here is the link to that page: https://wp.me/Pd1vJl-9uS

  7. Loved the horse pictures! Got my daughter into the room really quickly!
I have looked at the Look Books, I like them and clicked through to some of the items. I like that they are by outfit, so I can see if that’s how I’d do it or not.
    Love the polka dots today!

  8. I love your look books.
