GETTING READY FOR SPRING
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend and that your team won the football game. For those whose team didn’t win, you have to remember that coming in second in the entire league isn’t bad. Joe had his own unique saying whenever the kid’s teams didn’t win. He would tell them, “congratulations on being the first loser.” We might be somewhat of a sarcastic family. Lol!
After church, I spent most of the day cleaning on the computer room. That is the room that has become the catch-all room for almost everything. It has an old desk in there that is a side-by-side. Joe and I both used to work on the computers there. But, my large computer got so slow that I ordered a laptop and then I started working on the kitchen table. I am determined to get this room back under control, and then I hope to turn it into a real office that Joe and I can both use. If you are friends with me on FaceBook, then you saw the pictures of how bad that room had gotten. It was a case of out of sight, out of mind.
Since Phil didn’t see his shadow on the 2nd, I am getting ready for Spring, and this gorgeous sweater is a perfect way to herald it in. When I saw this sweater, I loved how bright and white it looked, and the pink and black stripes really pop off of the white. The entire look is crisp and clean. I really like that this is machine washable and it fits true to size. I am wearing a medium. Here is the link to the sweater.
I thought the sweater looked so much like Spring, that I add a discontinued necklace that echoed the same feeling. The white multi-strand pearls and the Shaila pearl stud earrings kept with the white theme. The gold bracelets are the Lelani and the Mary Ellen bracelet.
I thought that these hot pink pumps by Charles David looked amazing with this outfit. These were a pair that I think I paid 5.00 for because they had a stain on them. Joe and I Googled how to get rid of a stain on suede, and I got it out. Yay!!! These are the cutest 5.00 shoes EVER! Good luck finding your own 5.00 pumps but until then, here are some cute ones to choose from.
I have on an extremely comfortable pair of pants c/o QVC and Women With Control. They are a pull-on style and machine washable. But, what I really like is that they seem to be snug in all the right places which makes them very flattering. Who doesn’t want to wear something comfortable and flattering??? The next best thing about these pants is the fact that they are sold as a pair. You get a full-length boot cut pant and an ankle pant also. I chose the black boot cut and a navy ankle pant. Go here to see the navy pant and then go HERE to purchase your own set.
The winds had kicked up when I was taking my photos making it feel like Spring. I know it won’t last long and that it will get cold again. But, I am enjoying the “thought” that Spring will be here SOON.
BTW, Rodan and Fields are at it again. They are gearing up for ANOTHER new product, and this one sounds fantastic. I know that when a new product launches it is a great time to become a consultant. I love helping women feel better about themselves with fashion. I love helping women feel more confident with skincare. And, I love helping women have an opportunity for financial income.
