GETTING READY FOR SPRING
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend and that your team won the football game. For those whose team didn’t win, you have to remember that coming in second in the entire league isn’t bad. Joe had his own unique saying whenever the kid’s teams didn’t win. He would tell them, “congratulations on being the first loser.” We might be somewhat of a sarcastic family. Lol!
After church, I spent most of the day cleaning on the computer room. That is the room that has become the catch-all room for almost everything. It has an old desk in there that is a side-by-side. Joe and I both used to work on the computers there. But, my large computer got so slow that I ordered a laptop and then I started working on the kitchen table. I am determined to get this room back under control, and then I hope to turn it into a real office that Joe and I can both use. If you are friends with me on FaceBook, then you saw the pictures of how bad that room had gotten. It was a case of out of sight, out of mind.
Since Phil didn’t see his shadow on the 2nd, I am getting ready for Spring, and this gorgeous sweater is a perfect way to herald it in. When I saw this sweater, I loved how bright and white it looked, and the pink and black stripes really pop off of the white. The entire look is crisp and clean. I really like that this is machine washable and it fits true to size. I am wearing a medium. Here is the link to the sweater.
I thought the sweater looked so much like Spring, that I add a discontinued necklace that echoed the same feeling. The white multi-strand pearls and the Shaila pearl stud earrings kept with the white theme. The gold bracelets are the Lelani and the Mary Ellen bracelet.
I thought that these hot pink pumps by Charles David looked amazing with this outfit. These were a pair that I think I paid 5.00 for because they had a stain on them. Joe and I Googled how to get rid of a stain on suede, and I got it out. Yay!!! These are the cutest 5.00 shoes EVER! Good luck finding your own 5.00 pumps but until then, here are some cute ones to choose from.
BTW, Rodan and Fields are at it again. They are gearing up for ANOTHER new product, and this one sounds fantastic. I know that when a new product launches it is a great time to become a consultant. I love helping women feel better about themselves with fashion. I love helping women feel more confident with skincare. And, I love helping women have an opportunity for financial income.

How tall are you? Did you order the pants in regular or petite?
I am 5’6″ and I order regular inseam.
You look great. I want to get those pants. I tried to click on link and my iPad wouldn’t connect me.
Gorgeous sweater and you are right, the pink does get you in the mood for spring! There’s already some daffodils and quince bushes blooming here, but I’m ready to see green grass and leaves on the trees. So excited for a new product coming from R+F!! You’ve perked up my Monday for sure!
The sweater caught my eye immediately. I love it!! I really am getting that one. And your pink pumps look great as well. This outfit made me feel happy. Do clothes do that to you? Alter your mood? Good luck with organizing. It’s hard work but so worth it when you’re done.
Oh that’s a super cute sweater & and necklace matches it perfectly! Very springy & I’m ready!
Great minds think alike. I just bought the same sweater. Now that I see it paired hot pink shoes I know I need to find some. You look awesome as always. And yes my team won!
This is a perfect look for a long gray wet windy chilly day this month. You look fresh as a tulip. And I love Joe’s encouraging comment about being a first loser. Made me grin.
You look gorgeous and I ordered the sweater too. I like how you put your outfits together and let us know where we can find the items. Saves me from scouring the stores and still coming up empty handed.
Beautiful outfit! I love the hot pink, it reminds me of my teen years. I still love wearing it. I grew up in Florida and lived most of my adult life there and bright colors are the norm there. Think Lilliy Pulitzer.
So bright and spring looking.
Absolutely love this outfit! The colors are wonderful and you look so pretty. 🙂
Great looking outfit! The sweater looks beautiful on you! Yes, let’s enjoy every pretty day regardless if there are some more cool ones to come!
Bingo!! Great look on you!
Wow, what a great look on you!
I cannot bring myself to wear hot pink. I have been conditioned over the years into thinking it doesn’t suit me. Are there colours you avoid because you think they aren’t one of your best colours?
Lisa
You look beautiful!?
My team won, so I am smiling about that.?
Great outfit – I love it!!!
There is nothing like pink to make you feel like spring! I’m not there yet in my wardrobe – just in my mind! Good luck with the office!
You look awesome in this outfit! I ordered the sweater!
What a breath of fresh air you are today on this dark and rainy day we are suffering here in the NW of the UK. Very spring like. The pink is so cheerful. X
Definitely a pretty outfit for spring!
