FEMININE AND FLOWY TOP FOR SUMMER
Today’s post is different because all of the photos are taken inside. It started raining right when we got ready to take pictures, so Courtney scouted out a beautiful spot to take my pictures for today. I am not sure if you know this, but our small town has a law school, and today all of my photos were taken in the lounge at the school.
Even though I live in a tiny town, we have two of these specialized colleges. The campuses are both renovated older schools in the county that used to be middle schools. The grounds on both of these schools are gorgeous, so I enjoy having my pictures taken at both of these facilities. I am sure we are the same as most small towns…we may not have a lot of things to do, but we have several things that make us unique.
I love this soft, feminine top. Even though you will hear me say that I don’t particularly like pastels, I love how soft and muted these colors are. The top is a very pale pink with different shades of gray throughout the tank. The neckline is a halter style with two straps, and it has a ruffled peplum style waist. The material is 100% polyester, and it is machine washable. I am wearing a size large, but it is a bit large on me. If you are between sizes, you might want to size down because the top is loose and flowy. Here is the link to the top.
Could these earrings be more perfect for this outfit? These are the Laiken earrings, and they are very pale pink with crystal centers.
My two bracelets are part of the Rachel set. This set contains four iridescent & black beaded bracelets with gold accents on a 6.75″ elastic strand.
You wouldn’t necessarily think of dark gray as a summer color, but these pants go great with today’s look. This is probably my favorite length of pants in the summer months. I think the ankle length style shows off your shoes, a tiny bit of tan skin, and it is plain pretty. Lol!
Gurls, yesterday was a fun day! I went to Nordstrom while I was in Atlanta, to spend two $500.00 gift certificates. I really like this outfit and like the colors for summer, as the grey pants could also transition year round! I agree, those earrings are perfect!
I know, and my husband has couple of colleagues, who attended the law school. It’s good for our area to have that resource close. I love this look today. The colors are flattering on you. I like muted colors better than bright so this is my cup of tea. Have a great Wednesday!

I love the style of this top. Usually they come in a fabric which has a silky feel to the touch. I think you look glam and sexy in it.
