The Best Fitting Pants and Jeans I’ve Found in Years
Gurls, when you find a pair of pants that fit well, feel good, and look stylish, it’s like striking gold. And when you find more than one from the same brand? You better believe I’m stocking up! Over the years, I’ve tried dozens of brands, but the pants and jeans I keep coming back to are from KUT from the Kloth. They just know how to make clothes that work for real women, especially those of us over 50. Today, I’m sharing why this brand has become one of my absolute favorites, a few of the styles I wear on repeat, and my Kut from the Kloth shopping tips and advice.
Are KUT from the Kloth Jeans Worth It?
This is one of the most common questions I get, and gurls, I get it. Jeans aren’t cheap these days, and it’s frustrating to spend money on something that doesn’t end up working out. So, are KUT from the Kloth jeans worth it?
In my experience? Yes, they are, and here’s why. The fit is consistently good, which isn’t always easy to find once you’re over 50. I don’t have to fuss with the waistband, the pockets lay flat, and they hug in all the right places without feeling too tight. Unlike other brands where sizing can be all over the place, I pretty much know what to expect when I order from KUT. And the quality? It’s right up there with some designer labels I’ve tried. The denim is soft but holds its shape, even after a full day of wear or a spin through the washer.
My Go-To KUT from the Kloth Jeans
Let’s talk about denim first. Here are the top-rated KUT from the Kloth jeans. I’ve tried some of them
Nicole High Rise Boot Cut Jeans
If you’ve been hesitant to try bootcut jeans again, start here. The Nicole style has a gentle flare that balances out your shape and lengthens the legs. The high-rise fit holds everything in (in the best way), and the bootcut leg adds a nice balance, especially if you carry weight in the middle. The dark wash makes them easy to dress up with a blouse or blazer. I’m sized down to a 6 because they have a good amount of stretch. I love wearing mine with wedges or block-heeled sandals.
Kelsey Fab Ab High Waist Raw Hem Ankle Kick Flare Jeans
These Kut from the Kloth Jeans are perfect for weekends or laid-back days. They have an easygoing vibe without looking sloppy. The subtle kick flare at the hem adds a fun touch, and it’s especially flattering if you have broader shoulders or a fuller top half, since it helps create a more balanced silhouette.
Meg Fab Ab High Waist Raw Hem Ankle Wide Leg Jeans
These high-waisted wide leg jeans use KUT from the Kloth’s Fab Ab technology to give you a little smoothing through the tummy area, without any uncomfortable squeezing. The raw hem keeps things casual and modern, and the ankle length is perfect for showing off a cute sandal or sneaker. I love how they combine comfort with a fresh silhouette that still works for those of us over 50.
Reese Ankle Straight-Leg Jean
The Reese jeans would be a great go-to summer jean. It hits right at the ankle and looks great with slides or a cute sandal. This dark wash is so easy to dress up. Just add a blazer and some nicer accessories, and you can wear these jeans for casual Friday or a dinner date!
You know I LOVE a good pair of white jeans like these during the warmer months! The cropped length works well for spring and summer and looks especially cute with sandals or sneakers. If you’ve been curious about the wide leg trend, this style is a flattering and easy way to try it out, no fuss, just a good, solid fit for everyday wear. If you want to try a straight leg white jean, you can try this style or this style instead.
These black Kut From The Kloth bootcut jeans are nice, stretchy, and super comfortable. They make your legs look so long and lean! You can see me styling them multiple ways in this post.
Favorite Kut from the Kloth Pants (That Aren’t Blue Jeans)
KUT from the Kloth doesn’t just make great jeans, they also make amazing pants for everyday wear and dressing up. These are their most popular styles right now:
These linen-blend pants are everything I want in a summer pant: lightweight, breathable, and flattering. The high waist smooths the tummy, while the cropped wide leg gives you that breezy, effortless feel we all want in warmer weather. I love the polished look of the fabric, but they still feel casual enough for everyday wear. Pair them with a tank and sandals for a laid-back day out, or tuck in a blouse and add a wedge for dinner on the patio.
These Ankle Wide Leg Pants are one of those styles that look good on everybody. I especially love the ankle length, it’s perfect for showing off your favorite summer shoes. Whether you’re running errands, heading to brunch, or even traveling, these are a great option. They feel modern but not too trendy, and they’re just as comfy as they are flattering!
KUT from the Kloth Sizing Advice
KUT from the Kloth is pretty consistent with sizing, but here are my best tips if you’re ordering for the first time:
- True to size for most styles. I usually wear an 8 or 10 and go with an 8 in KUT from the Kloth. (NOT SURE IF THIS IS TRUE!!)
- If in between, size down. Because of the stretch, you don’t want them to be too loose.
- Try petites if you’re under 5’4”. Their petite lengths are great—no hemming needed.
Where to Buy KUT from the Kloth
You can find KUT from the Kloth at lots of retailers, but I tend to shop for them at:
- Nordstrom – They often have exclusive washes and styles.
- Amazon – Great for quick shipping and reviews.
- KUT from the Kloth’s website – Best selection of current collections and new arrivals.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of their jeans or pants, or if you decide to give them a go after reading this post. I always love hearing your thoughts!

I’ve never tried this brand before, but I’m willing to support brands that have petite lengths.
Thanks for your review!
I am hesitant to try Kut from the Kloth jeans since they are all labeled High -waisted… and do not include rise measurement in description. Can’t do a rise higher than 10″.
I do love their denim jackets tho… have 3 of them. perfect!!
I’ve never thought they were too high waisted. I think they just mean that they are above the belly button.
yep, that’s too high for me. I’m very short waisted.
All nice pants!
☺️ I was going to say I can’t wear Kut jeans because I’m plus-size but they do have plus-size jeans! Good to know!
found it!
those jeans look good on you – I agree the boot cut style makes your legs look longer.
: ) love Kut jeans. you can get them on line and lots of times they have sales.

Priceless.

Thank you for explaining the sizes. I have tried this brand.😀
🙂 I had a pair of KFTK jeans once and LOVED them!
🙂 I have some Kut jeans they do tend to stretch out. I am an apple and am constantly having to pull them up. I recommend sizing down as much as you can. Good tip about sizing petite if you are 5’4″ or less. Getting jeans hemmed is tricky.
🙂 the softness is a plus. The straight ankle are my favorites. Do they make a pull on style?
🙂 The jeans look great!
They look great on you.

😀 interesting post. I have never heard of this brand. I will check it out. I am 5’1 so I will check the petites. So many styles are at the ankle and look too short. I guess that’s “in” now. I like bootcut for me. Funny story about Joe – I’m sure he didn’t know what was wrong with the bread!

Good Morning Tania: I discovered KUT Jeans about 3 years ago and now have 7 pair. From boot cut to straight legs, they all are wonderful jeans. The Nicole bootcut looks great on you, I think I have that one also. Just last week I paid a visit to the Levis Store here in Park Meadows Mall in Denver. That’s all we used to wear back in the day. And I must say I like the pair purchased as well as KUT. Thanks for a great post to start the week 🙂
😊 haven’t tried this brand. They look great on you!

😊Hilarious Joe story Tania!!! I love it. I like the boot cut style, but I didn’t see them shown in a petite. I’ll have to search the website a little bit more. I did see a petite in the white flair style. Anyway, great choices Tania and and you rock all those styles.
