Fall Try-On Haul With Chico’s
My husband had to run to Knoxville yesterday, so I told him that I would tag along for the ride to keep him company. He had an appointment that I knew would take a few hours, so I asked him to drop me off at an outdoor mall that I knew had several stores I shop all side by side. He dropped me off, and I spent the next two hours doing try-on hauls with Chico’s, J.Jill, and Talbots. I had planned on also going into Loft and J.Crew Factory, but unfortunately, his appointment didn’t last long enough. Today’s post is a fall try-on haul with Chico’s, and you’ll see the others soon.
For Sizing Purposes: I’m 5’6″ tall; I wear a size 8 (a .05 in Chico’s sizing), a size 10 or med in tops (a size 1 in Chico’s sizing), and a size 10 or large in dresses (a size 1 in Chico’s sizing).
The lighting was terrible in the dressing room and cast a funky yellow glow. I tried to adjust it the best I could, but some of the colors might not be totally accurate. You can visit the website for a better color representation.

Chico’s is LOADED with lots of leopard print and faux leather right now. I tried a couple of items for you, but they had lots more.

This Leopard Printed Pullover was one I liked because it could be dressed up or down. There was another dressier blouse I liked, but they didn’t have my size for me to try on.

I styled the leopard print pullover in several ways, including these Girlfriend Flare Jeans. These fit really well, and I loved the color.

I didn’t know whether I would like this fringe sweater or not. I love unusual details, and the sweater looked better on than it did on the rack.

Here is another way that I styled the leopard print pullover. I hated the look of the Faux Crocodile Wide Leg Crops when I saw them on the website, but I thought they looked great in person. I didn’t have any heels to wear with them, but that is how I would style them at home.

I found the puffed Quilted Crossbody Bag, and I couldn’t wait to try it with the pants. It is leather and looks very classy and chic! There is a chain shoulder strap that is included, but I carried it like a clutch.

The faux crocodile pants might be out of the comfort zone for some of you, so I tried the cocoa brown ankle pants with them. These are browner in person; this is one of the items that the color isn’t showing correctly.

The camel V-Neck Sweater is a great basic sweater. I love the color, and the snap button details on the sleeves.

I added the Animal Print Oblong Scarf to tie the outfit together. I loved how unusual the scarf was, the pattern changes from one end to the other.

This was the only outfit I didn’t like. I love the individual pieces, just not together. The pants are the same cocoa brown color, and I thought they would look great with the camel sweater above or this paprika cardigan and tank. I didn’t like either of them with the pants. Maybe it is the pants I didn’t like. 🤷♀️

I did like the cardigan and tank. They are available in a few other colors, but this paprika color just looks like fall to me.

You probably can’t tell, but this is a different pair of jeans. These are trouser jeans, and the color is darker than it looks in the photo. They are available in several washes, and these are the medium color.
I hope you enjoyed this quick try-on haul. What items are your favorite???

I like the top with the fringe. So cute and different!
The clothes always look better on you than on their website!
cute chick’s stuff!
The fringe sweater is my favorite item in this try on! Love it!
Love it when you do a try- on haul!!
Wow… so, this Chico’s try-on is bringing the heat. All of these neutral, earthy tones for the fall plus the animal prints look classy and chic.
This reminds me to pop into a store the next time we’re near one. The animal print pieces and the elegant, floral ankle pants stand-out and really are favs.
I am glad you like them! Chico’s has so many nice things. I could have stayed there all day!
Love both jeans and the crossbody. Tops are cute too.
