What do you do when you need to escape? The first thing that comes to my mind is the Calgon commercial that says, “take me away.” The need to escape this time was a game that we chose to play. My mother mentioned to me before we traveled to Tennessee, that she had seen where Cookeville (next town over) had gotten one of those Escape room places. These places put you in a room with a group of people, and you have to work together to try and figure out the clues, riddles, codes, etc. to escape the room. I didn’t have high hopes for us being able to escape the room. My eight-year-old niece did her version of an escape room, complete with codes that had to be deciphered, and some of us did not make it out of there. No names are being mentioned about who did not figure that out. Lol! When the time came of go to the escape room, seven of our family went, and a family of three was placed in the room with us also. We were given one hour to figure out all of the clues, and we escaped with a tiny bit over 6 minutes left!!! It was NOT easy, and this one was only rated a 7 out of 10 for how hard and complex it was. I laughed when my mom said, “I am glad that you guys are here or I would just sit over here in the corner until an hour was up.” She didn’t have to worry about being alone because I would have probably been right there with her. (BIL)We had to leave a reminder that we had been there. Lol!!! You can see from my hair that it was a tiny bit on the windy side. The weather was odd because it was windy but not very cold. I added my brand new sherpa vest to a while long sleeve cuddl-duds shirt. I loved this sherpa vest even though I couldn’t figure out if it was gray or beige. I at first had it with a black shirt because the trim on the vest is gray. But, when I held it up to the black shirt, the vest looked beige. Then, when I wore it outside, the vest looked gray. The best that I can figure is that you can wear it with anything. Lol! I just wanted a little-added warmth just in case the wind was blowing in some cooler temperatures.

I added a pair of the Silver earrings which have gray fringe on hammered gold. The only other thing that I added was a vintage rhinestone circle necklace that I bought from Etsy. We went shopping at an outlet store in town, and I got the chain hung on a jacket that I was trying on, and it broke. The bad thing about vintage jewelry is that it can break easily. I gathered the pieces and put it in my purse, and I will fix it later. I have been wearing this black leather pair of ankle boots by Marc Fisher a lot lately. I don’t know if it is the rocker-chic style that I am liking or if this pair is just on the lower part of the shoe rack. I have been known to pass on a pair of shoes because I was going to have to get out the ladder to reach them. Lol! The Kut from the Kloth Diana skinny jeans is a soft stretch denim. I love the dark color that makes the jeans appear dressier and also make me appear thinner. These fit true to size, and I am wearing a size 10. The best thing about these jeans is that they are on sale for under 40.00. Be sure to take advantage of the Half-Yearly sale from Nordstrom that is going through January 2nd.
