WHEN IT COMES A GULLY WASHER
It is a big weekend here in Grundy. The first weekend in August is always Relay For Life. Relay For Life is a fundraiser that benefits the American Cancer Society and our small community goes all out to raise the funds. The only problem with this event is that it rains almost EVERY year. I don’t mean sprinkles, I mean it does the gully washing type rain. Bad for those going to the Relay but good for ducks and Hunter boot fashion bloggers. Lol!
Do you know what rain does when it has been really warm? It creates an awful humidity. As soon as I opened the door to take my camera outside the lens immediately fogged up. I tried waiting on it to acclimate to the heat but it never would. I wiped it off and wiped it off but before I could get my pictures taken it would fog up again. Lol! Oh, well, put on your fog lights and see if you can make out the outfit.
I wasn’t sure what type jewelry to wear with this outfit because there is a lot going on with the top. I ended up wearing my Dani earrings because of the color and also because of the design, it reminded me of the design on the shirt. I have on a shorter necklace called Jaylin. Can you even see it? Lol! It blends in really well. The longer necklace is one of my favorites that I haven’t worn in a while. It is the Shelena and it says, “God Is WIthin She Will Not Fail.” And of course, I have on the Ritta. It seems like I wear this almost daily anymore. Go to plunderdesign.com/taniastephens to place an order. Just pick a party that has my name in it.
I have no idea how long I have had this top. I have no idea where I bought this top. Basically, I just don’t much of anything about the top other than I like all the colors and the print. That is how I shop. I look for colors, prints, styles, and the fabric when I go shopping. I like to find something unique about each item and then throw in a couple of staples that you can wear with anything. I can usually go to my closet and find something that will match anything I bring home.
Gurls, you all know how I feel about R+F so I am not even going there. Here is what I will tell you. I am not here to try to talk you into buying any skincare and I am not here trying to talk you into joining me in the business. I am here for you and to tell you what is available and what works for me. I am here to tell you that I love the business, all the discounts, all of my new friends including many from the blog that I would never have met if it hadn’t been for R+F, and I am here to tell you that I would love to have you join me too. If you have a question about the products or if you are curious about the business then just shoot me an email. I’ll be up front and honest. If you want to talk just let me know and we can schedule a call. I plan on being home all day and just doing some work so I would love the distraction. Lol!
If you want to go online and look around to see what you might need then go and take the solutions tool. If you are interested in looking at the business then you go here.
You know when you put a post on FaceBook you wait to see if you will get any “likes” or “hearts?” That is how I feel about my blog. Leaving a comment and pinning a picture to Pinterest is my equivalent to a “like.” If you share my post on FaceBook that is a “heart.” Show me some love, gurls!!!
The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day. Be sure to follow me on Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

That is one of my favorite colors too and it looks fabulous on blondes with blue eyes! You really rock that whole outfit! I’ve got to get some of those boots!
Love the outfit! Such s pretty color on you!!
Blue really is your color! … I have a burgundy Hunter boot, the slim feminine kind, and when I bought it, I realised I needed help to pull them off. Then looked and found a boot horn on amazon. Got the plastic one, it is light so you can even take it on a trip. Makes taking off boots so easy!
I will have to check that out.
You are absolutely adorable in this outfit. I wish I was in your area so you could show me around.
Wow! That outfit is fabulous on you! Cobalt is definitely your color. Have you tried a boot jack? Makes taking boots off a breeze.
I have a similar top that I bought this season from QVC, Susan Graver. It will be in my wardrobe a long time, because I love the same colors!
This outfit is fantastic! You look so tall!
Love the bright colors!
I love those boots and the rain doesn’t stand a chance with the great outfit! Enjoy the day!
Lovely! If it’s going to rain you might as well embrace it and look good!
