CHOOSING RED ACCESSORIES
Okay, I might have exaggerated on yesterdays post, at least at the beginning. However, today I am telling the truth. Lol! I didn’t make heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast, even though I was going to, because Joe didn’t want them. So, instead of breakfast, I made him something for dinner that I knew he would like. Ribeye steaks. With Joe, I don’t have to say anything else other than Ribeye because his eyes will start to glaze over. He likes them rare, like disgustingly rare, so I warm the outside and that is about all. Lol! Then for special occasions, I will clarify butter and add garlic salt and spices for him to dip his steak in. Yummy!!!
I doubt if the butter mixture is good for us so that is why I only fix it occasionally. To offset the fat and grease we just had a kale salad to eat with the steak. We are terrible not to eat until it is at least 9:00 if not later so eating a huge amount of food and then going to bed is not the best move that we could make. Eating late in the summer does not seem to be as big an issue for us but in the winter we are terrible to want to go straight to bed after we eat. Joe did get me my chocolate covered strawberries, which were delicious, and I went and got a manicure. I am officially calling Valentine’s Day 2018 a hit!
I am continuing with my red theme but today we are bringing in red with the accessories. I know that some of you may not think that red is your best color but you can add some touches of red and still get the point across. I love red and black together so I decided to wear this gingham black and white check shirt from Isaac Mizrahi. Gingham plaid is a pattern that I really like and I will find myself buying this pattern over and over. I have a pair of gingham plaid pants and Gerald at work says it looks like I am getting ready for a picnic when I wear them. Lol! I am a little leary posting these pictures today because I had someone recently email me that they wanted pictures of women in plaid. Uh, no! This is the downside of being on the internet for anyone to see.
Tuesday was my R+F payday….the nice mid-month reminder of why I love ? R+F and the business opportunity that was presented to me not even two-years ago. Because I said “yes”, I get to build a business that WILL BE OUR TICKET TO RETIREMENT….time and financial….while continuing to work alongside my husband at out lumber company. Because I said “yes”, I get to help my entire organization with the goals and aspirations! I get to help people realize their full potential, see that their dreams can become reality, and we are building a lifestyle we wish to live. And as happy as I am mid-month getting that payday, I smile bigger realizing that we this adventure has only begun…

I’ve noticed you often credit Isaac Mizrahi for clothing and accessories. Do you purchase all his items on line?
Lucy, I am lucky enough that there is a store in town that carries a lot of his items. I usually purchase from there.
really cute outfit!!
Love your outfit Tania. You give me great ideas in fashion and your blog makes me smile. Thank you so much.
Love this outfit!
Really like this outfit. I don’t normally like gingham but the black & white is classic and I love classic. Like the boots too. Might try similar look today. I’m 5’3″ but still love dusters and wear them a lot. ??
I love gingham in all kinds of colors but black and white is so classic.
Ooh I love this look! I’m not that tall but I still love the long duster sweater and I think the boots w heels make all the difference! Keep on rockin your beautiful colors and perfect style! And thanks for the sweet Valentines gift of Plunder!
ou are right about the boots making a difference, Charlcy!

I wear what I like even if it is not the “best” look for me.
so glad you reversed the tote, what a pop of color!
Post from Nan should have read “my stylist with pics”! Good grief.
I love this outfit. Casual, comfy, very cute! I notice you’re letting you hair grow. Looks great. Just so you know, tomorrow I’m going to mybstylywitg pics of your shorter “do”. Were you just ready for a change? Keep these posts coming! Love beginning my day with you!
Nan, I go through stages where I let me hair grow and then I will chop it all off. Lol!
I like the pops of red with the black! I have a reversible tote, too. Mine is bright pink on one side and orange on the other. I love being able to change the look, although I think mine may be easier to reverse than yours by the sound of it. I like the bright blue and red combination. Looks good with your blue jeans and red accessories.
This one’s bottom is square so I couldn’t get it to start the turn. I am glad that yours is easier.
