CELEBRATE WITH STYLE

I bet most of you are like me when it comes to the holidays. What do you wear to parties??? I hate being in head-to-toe flashing Christmas lights unless I’ve been invited to a tacky sweater party. I do love sequins but whenever I wear them they rub the inside of my arm and I end up with a rash. That is not a great way to start the holiday season. But, we do get invited to parties whether it is work or by friends and then we are left with the dilemma of what to wear.As soon as I saw this sweater from Purple Poppy I immediately thought of New Year’s Eve. This is PERFECT for toasting in the New Year!!! Who doesn’t think of the “bubbly” when it comes to watching the ball drop?This sweater is soft to the touch which is a MUST for me. It is lightweight and that is important especially if you will be dancing in the New year. You don’t want to be sweating when you get that first kiss of the year. Lol!!! The cut of this sweater is also very flattering with the shirt-tail hemline. That type cut will help to elongate your leg which is always flattering.I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the sweater where it looks like the drink is in my hands. Lol! That is another thing I like about this sweater……it is playful and fun!!! If your party, no matter the occasion, is fun and casual then this is a perfect look for you. I thought about wearing this with a pair of sequin leggings that I have in a gold color. That would have sure made this look a little more festive. Another look would have been with the Lysse Ainsley leggings that I wore in this post. The black leggings and a pair of black pumps would look fantastic with this sweater. As you can see from the tag that is still attached I am saving this sweater to wear on New Year’s Eve. Lol! Here is the dreaded back look. I wanted you to see that your tush is covered so it doesn’t matter if you choose a pair of pants or leggings, you will be covered. I am wearing an M/L which fits great. The care for this sweater is hand wash, I hate having to take things to the dry cleaners so this is perfect. I choose the ivory pants instead of wearing black (I’ll probably wear the black leggings on New Year’s) because I wanted you to be able to see how the sweater was made. Black on black wouldn’t show you the details.It is another home run from Purple Poppy. I have NEVER gotten anything from this store that I haven’t really really liked. All the clothing is unique and I don’t worry about walking into a party and seeing someone else wearing my outfit.
