CASUAL, RELAXED, AND READY FOR THE WEEKEND
Happy Saturday!!! I hope you gurls are ready for December because it is HERE, and we only have 21 more days until Christmas! Yikes! I have a lot of my shopping done, but I need to purchase a few more things, and I am at a loss. Joe and I bought The Frame television for our Christmas gift, even though we don’t watch tv very often. Lol! Have you heard about this tv, or do you already have one?
Our Frame television is supposed to arrive Sunday, and we opted to pay for the installation service. That service was $79, and it will be worth every penny not to have to listen to Joe try to hang this thing on the wall. Hahaha! I am sure most of you gurls are shaking your heads in agreement. We bought the 55″ one since that was the size that would fit best for our space. I’m crossing my fingers that we like it because I hate the television I have sitting on my bookcase.
So, the thing about The Frame tv is that when the television is OFF, a picture will display instead of a black screen. You can upload your photos or choose from a gallery of photos available. There are also photos available for purchase from Etsy or other sources, and your tv then becomes a work of art. I’ll probably also elect to buy a “frame,” which will make it look more like a hanging photo, but I’m going to wait until we see if we like the tv first. Be sure to comment if you have one of these or have seen them at a friend’s house.
Have you gotten a sherpa pullover yet? My daughter-in-law had one when she was here earlier and rode the Virginia Creeper Trail, so I grabbed this one when I saw it last week. I haven’t washed it yet, and I am a little nervous about how it will wash. It wasn’t expensive, so I’m not out a lot of money if it doesn’t do well in the wash.
The pullover is soft and comfortable, and I liked the relaxed and casual style. I’m wearing a medium, but it looks like most of the sizes have sold out. I’ll link to some similar ones for you in case you want to dress casually also.
Here is the length of this pullover, and it hits me right at my hips.
I have worn these ambered olive jeggings a lot this fall. Olive was a color that I steered away from previously, but for some reason, I have become obsessed with it this year. I now have olive tops, jeans, sweaters, and I just bought an olive jacket. In fact, I’ve even started eating olives too!!! Lol! I am wearing a size 1 in the jeggings, and the best part is…they are pull-on!
The Chelsea boot is a style that I had to get used to. It isn’t my usual style, but I gave it a chance, and I like it a lot. This water-resistant pair has a lower heel that is easy to walk in, and they are easy to pull on also. I found them to run true to size, and I am wearing my usual size 9. If you’ve been thinking about trying this style, this is a nice pair to start with since they are a great price.
A girl has to have a place to put her phone, credit cards, and some cash, and this leather crossbody wallet is perfect for this. Since summer, I’ve been carrying this crossbody wallet, and this camel color works just as well in the fall.

Ooooh! Delicious!
I recently became one of your gurls. I love your style and that you incorporate lots of color. I am well over 50 but feel inspired by your choices. No stopping this gurl.
I pull up a roaring fire video on Netflix, put it on repeat all evening. Very cheerful. I have several of those sweaters from Walmart and so far I’ve had good luck with washing them. Not sure about Target.
Does water get in the gore of the Chelsea boots? I have a pair of rain boots that have that and water gets in if you step in much water.
Anna, I’ve never had it in a lot of water, so I can’t say for sure.
I’ve never heard of the frame TV but I like the features it offers. Having art work or a photo gallery sounds great. When it’s time to upgrade our TV I will definitely be looking into it. I think paying for the installation is a great idea as well. We women all know that our men like to think they are all great at DIY, but the reality is a bit different. I think it is a much more sensible idea to pay a professional right from the start to get things done faster and correctly and without a lot of extra stress. LOL!
I’ve never heard of a frame TV but I love the sound of it. The changing of art or a photo on it when it’s off is fantastic. You’ll have to let us know how the TV itself is. When it’s time to update our TV in couple of years I think I would also like to get one. It’s definitely a great idea to pay for the install. Our hubby’s like to think they can do it all, but we women are more realistic and know a job will get done easier, faster and correctly with a professional doing it.
I have the Frame tv and love it! You can pick your own pictures and add it to the tv. If you go on YouTube it will walk you through the process. Enjoy!
I haven’t heard of the Frame tv but it sounds like a great idea. Give us an update & photos. Getting it installed was a smart thing to do for sure! Thanks for all the inspiration!
