CAN YOU WEAR COLD SHOULDER TOPS IN THE WINTER
Goodness gracious, I sure hope that my Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex is going to work. I am exhausted!!! My son called me at 9:00 pm and said that they had a doctor’s appointment early the next morning and wanted to know if I could take care of Emersyn. They already knew that I would so this was just a formality to let me know that I was being called into duty. The doctor’s appointment was for 7:30 am, which is early but when you factor that the doctor is 2 hours away you can start to see the issue.
I set my alarm to get up at 5:00 am so I could walk over and crawl into bed with Emersyn until 7:00 when we would need to get up and start getting her ready for school. The problem is that my eyes flew open at 4:00 and refused to shut again, I hate when that happens. I woke Emersyn up at 7:00 and she jumped straight out of bed so thrilled that I was there and going to be taking her to school. I got her dressed and then it dawned on me that “I” had to put on clothes too. We walked back over to the house but Joe was still sleeping so we had to sneak into the bedroom and grab me some clothes. I took her to school with no makeup on!!! You know how I feel about that. Lol! Even though I was going strong at 4:00 am I am dragging my tracks right now. There is no telling what the rest of this blog post might say. Hahaha!
I am so in love with this top. This deep claret color is so popular right now, I saw it everywhere when I went to Charleston. I bought this top before I left at the local boutique in town, Trendy Threads. This is a heavyweight knit sweater and it a great quality. The brand is Umgee which is a brand I like a lot. The unique cold shoulder details are, of course, the real attraction. I know it is crazy to wear tops with cutouts in the winter but I am not the one who comes up with these trends.
I had two ladies join me in this business today. One is only interested in the discounts at this time and the other is going to work this as a business. She is from Georgia and she is the second person to tell me this week that she is joining with me because I am serious about working this as a business! She said she that she knew of other people who were associated with R+F but they didn’t seem to take this seriously. If you want to have a business partner that is serious, motivated, and interested in moving rapidly up the ladder then lets link arms. I love the products and I love this company. I LOVE sharing all my tips and tricks with my partners. If you would like to know more about this from the TOP, and I mean the VERY top leaders in this company, just message me. I have been invited to bring some of my prospects to an invitation-only event on Wednesday the 25th. You have plenty of time to think about it. If you just want to ask me questions then let’s talk.
Have you ever wondered why I would ask you to sign up for my email subscription? I know that you may access me from another way like FaceBook or Instagram but “brands” like to see a large email subscription list. So, I am asking you to sign up if you don’t mind, it would really help me. The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day. Be sure to follow me on Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
Please be aware that links to vendors may be affiliate links. I do profit from your purchases through the links on the blog.
Oh, just love this outfit as I wear leopard a lot too! I almost croaked when you said the Posse e was sold out! I absolutely adore this set and really want it!! So bummed! But cool colors and design and love that bracelet too!
I loved this Posse. I almost didn’t show it because it was sold out.
I love your clothes – especially the claret red cold-shoulder sweater by Umgee. I have tried “Trendy Threads” – but they don’t have it. Are there any other vendors that sell this sweater? I really enjoy your blog… and I aspire to your level of “smartness” with your wardrobe. Thank you!
Hi Tanya
I love the cold shoulder jumper, that’s such a favour colour of mine for winter. I too, will check out the garment f Umgee on the Amazon website
Also, I really enjoy reading your blogs. I think what is Tania up to now, even if I am all the way from England, UK. You would absolutely love shopping in London!! If you ever come over, I would give you tips on where to shop!!
I turned 50 this year, so I was so glad to find your blog as your such an inspiration. I love your funny blogs, and your imaginative way of wearing new styles of clothes, with different bags and jewelley. It’s so true, to try and look your absolute best. I know when I put the little extra bit of effort on my clothes, make up and jewellery, the compliments do come along which is a great confidence booster. I have just returned to working in the City of London and everyone wears a lot of black office wear, so wearing smart clothes with some colour and lovely make up makes me feel cheery and a real feel good factor too.
I look forward to reading more blogs from you, keeping going girl, your doing a lot of good for so many.
Loretta
Thank you, dear Tania – the German Ladies would also be happy to have such a great R+ F experience!
Yours Angela
The Umgee site on Amazon has so many clothes on it, over 40 pages. So then I did a mini-search and typed in Lattice sleeve. What came up was Mandy +Ally’s lattice sleeve sweater. It was perfect – comes in black, grey and the color Tania was wearing. Go on Amazon and search for Mandy+Ally’s lattice sleeve sweater and see if the sweater will appear!!! If not let me know ?? Good Luck!!
That sweater is awesome! I probably couldn’t wear it in the winter, because I’m usually cold….but I can see me wearing it late summer, early fall. Love leopard and burgundy together!
The mustard and claret combo is another A plus plus. You have a wonderful eye for choosing color and pattern. It goes without saying that leopard is appropriate during any season and any occasion. Thanks for another inspiring outfit for us to aspire to.
Love your outfit and leopard accent pieces. I am sad that i missed out on that necklace though!! Have a great day!
Good Morning! I love your sweater…I just ordered one from Amazon. Thank you for sharing.!!!
A fan that adores you in Southern Ca.
I want this sweater too! I looked on Amazon and couldn’t find it. Would you care to tell me were to find it?
Melissa, I bought mine at Trendy Threads in my hometown. You might call Kim at 276-244-1115 and see if she still has any.

Hello Tania??
I like the top. And it looks so pretty on you! Question: what accessories would you wear with an eggplant colored nice dress?
Could you share the brand name of the claret top? Love the color
Cindy, mine was by Umgee.
Love Love that sweater! Yes you definitely can wear cold shoulder tops in the winter! Especially here in Florida! Love the bracelet, may have to order it! Get some rest
Oh you are such a good mom and grandma! I hate when I wake up in the middle of the night. The next day I feel like I’m hung over when really I’m exhausted. Anyway, your top is adorable and I bought the same purse you have when I saw you wearing it a couple of weeks ago. It’s so eye-catching! Good luck today!

I saw someone wear the open shoulder shirt with a lace top under it. I thought this was a fun way to wear these shirts in the colder weather too!! I’m going to try it one of these days when I remember!!

Good Morning! I just recently found your blog and was thrilled to find that 50 can still look so good. I am just a few years shy of that iconic age and refuse to let that number affect my love of beautiful fashion and jewelry! I now look forward to your post every morning. Thank You!
Love this look.
This outfit us awesome! I love claret with banana yellow! And the Posse looks amazing with these colors. You’ve tied it altogether beautifully. I love your posts and so thankful I found you some time ago. Love hearing your stories about your family. Have a great day!
Great outfit. Love how the colors can contrast and the leopard print just seals the deal. Definitely a winner!
Such a cool outfit and great color combo! Bought a few things in wine but wouldn’t have thought to accent with the animal print and it looks great! Have a more restful day!
Dear Tania, good morning from Germany – you always look amazing! Love your blog.
I am wondering if it would be possible testing products of R+F here in Germany. How to get them and what about charges for transport/custom clearance? Do you have an idea? Is the product already on european market???
Thanks a lot for reply.
Yours Angela
Angela, I will email you. At this time they do not ship to Germany.
