BLUE AND ORANGE GO TOGETHER
WOW! I can’t believe how fast this week has flown by. This was going to be my week to get some things done. Do you ever have those? Joe has been out of town for a couple days and I thought I could get caught up on things that I have been putting off. I wanted to clean out my jewelry drawers and get the new items organized, I wanted to bring out the spring and summer shoes and put up my winter boots, and I wanted to organize my closet.
Ask me what I have done. Nada, nothing, zero!!! Instead, I played all day on Sunday, went to the pre-school graduation on Monday, and went to get my nails done on Tuesday. I went to get my nails done, but, I didn’t get them done. I drove to the shop and they were closed so I did the only thing I could do……I went next door shopping. Lol! I bought the most beautiful wreath for my front door. It is bright colored tulips and I loved the simple design. I came home and immediately hung it on my front door. I may not have got a lot of work done but I have had a joy filled couple of days. Haha!
I told you it was gorgeous! Thanks, Jackie!!!
This is sure a bright post after yesterday’s black post. I admit I prefer color hands down. You can see it on my face. I wore this top once to a woman’s club meeting and one of my friends wanted it. I told her where I bought it and she went out immediately and bought the top. I love the colors, orange and blue are one of my favorite combinations. This shirt is by the brand August Silk and I think I bought this at Belks. I am really not positive because it was two years ago. There is a lot of visual interest going on with the top but because I am wearing a solid cardigan and pants, it doesn’t seem too busy.

I really enjoy seeing you in bright colors and prints. You have served as a real inspiration for me to try something other than solids and lots of black. I’m trying to move out of my comfort zone.
Thanks, Tania!
Hello Tania
I am following you for a while now, far away from the Netherlands. As you love the same bright colours as I do, I like your daring style very much. I always envy your accessories, you have a way of putting multiple items together, I would not have the guts to do that. And I would never find such lovely items. Please, would you be so kind to make a topic on how you asemble your accessories each day on every outfit? Where do you start, do you have a rule to build it up? How about colourcombining? Where do you buy them, etc. I hope you do understand my questions.
Thanks
Claudia
Good morning, Claudia! It is wonderful to hear from someone so very far away. I am really still learning the whole stacking trend with accessories. For necklaces, I just try to make sure that each one can be seen. As for bracelets, I try to mix thicknesses, textures, etc. I put on something and then change it if I don’t like it. It is just about trying, you can’t actually mess up because there are no “rules.”
Love this look, the colors on the top are beautiful and I’m not even a fan of orange! It has to be the right shade for me. 🙂
Another favorite for me.
love the outfit and the colors put together, you look great!
Awesome outfit. You look wonderful in bright colors and prints!
I love orange and blue and my second favorite combo is navy and Kelly green.
I think I need to add some orange to wardrobe, because it looks super on you, Tania. And I guess I’ll hop on over to Justfashionnow to check out their site….. Have a good day!
Love the colors, love the pattern! And when i read your title for today–“Blue and orange go together”–I laughed, and thought, of course they go together—they are opposites on the color wheel. Like red and green, purple and yellow, etc. Opposite colors are the best, best, best combinations, and make each pop like no other. Job well done!
Where did you find that beautiful wreath??!
This outfit is terrific. Love everything from top to bottom. Love blue and orange myself. Very sunny.
