Best Pajamas for Staying Cool At Night
You must know by now that I LOVE my sleepwear. There’s nothing I like better than pulling out my cute pjs at the end of the night and slipping in between cool sheets. I am a full 8-hours kinds of gurl and if it’s too hot, it ruins my beauty rest. I’ve spent a lot of time looking for the best pajamas for staying cool at night and if you’re reading this blog and are of a certain age, you could probably use this information, too!
(The pjs I’m wearing in this picture are super cute, but since this was from a blog I did in 2021, they are long gone. I’m linking a more summer-friendly, similar version here.)
Best Pajamas for Staying Cool At Night – Nightgowns
Bamboo sheets are the bomb. If you haven’t tried them, you must! So when I saw a nightgown made out of the same material, I had to grab it. It doesn’t hurt that it’s super pretty and feminine too. I love the satin V-neck and that it comes in so many colors.
Another great nightshirt in bamboo. This one is very short, but sometimes the long ones bother me because they can ride up during the night. This looks like a much prettier version of an oversized t-shirt.
This one is for those of you who prefer a nightgown to be a little longer. This would be great to get while the grandkids are visiting. Of course, I’ll wear a robe around the house but with little ones sitting on my lap and pulling at me, the more coverage, the better.
Best Pajamas for Staying Cool At Night – Short Sets
I think Amazon should hire me to name their sleepwear, lol. I mean, they call it “Invug Women Nightwear”. Call it what you want, but it’s super cute. Gurls, it comes in a bunch of different patterns, and it’s under $20 dollars!
Of course, if you like solids, you can’t go wrong with this two-piece set. It comes in a variety of colors and is just under $30 dollars. The satin trim elevates this and is perfect for those of you who don’t like buttons or v-necks.
This is adorable! It’s a little pricier than the two above, but I will say that you do tend to get what you pay for. So do you want a set that you can wear for a season or something that will last a lot longer? I can’t decide which one I like the best. What do you think?
Best Pajamas for Staying Cool At Night – 2 Piece Pants
Gisele Short Sleeve Crop Pajama Set
Isn’t this pretty? I love the color and the piping around the edges. I don’t think any of these are necessarily better than others when it comes to style. It really is what you prefer! These are the Eberjey brand which is sold at Nordstrom, one of my favorite retailers.
This is my style! Even though I’m trying to stay cool, I love long pants and sleeves on my PJs. Am I the only one that likes to dress comfy and then turn the air on blast? lol If these PJs had pockets, I’d buy them in every color! Yes, I’m that person who carries their phone everywhere they go
2 Piece Short Sleeve w/Capri Pants
Speaking of which, these PJs have POCKETS. They are also 95% Viscose and under $30 dollars, but they had me at POCKETS. They come in other colors, but I liked the model facing forward for some reason. 🙂
Best Pajamas for Staying Cool At Night – Robes
I love to get up in the morning, put on my robe and have my coffee. In the winter, I wear my Barefoot Dreams robe, but it’s too hot for that now. This lightweight robe is perfect, especially for the shorter nightgowns and two-piece sets above.
Love, Love, Love! This is so colorful and pretty; it looks like it would put you in a good mood no matter what side of the bed you got out on. And guess what else it has? If you said POCKETS, you are correct. lol.
This is a beauty! The description made me laugh. “Silky viscose shapes this floral-dusted robe with a luxurious touch that’ll make you want to cancel all your plans and stay in tonight.” Spoiler alert, I like to cancel my plans and stay in almost every night!
Do you have a favorite style? My sister HATES nightgowns, but she loves two-piece sets. What’s your preference? Whatever you sleep in, I hope you stay cool!

Are You One Of The GURLS?

Verse Of The Day
Psalm 77:1

Great post!! I am recovering at home from surgery so this is very timely!! thank goodness for Amazon Prime so I can get items here quickly!
Love the window wreath idea, too!!
My daughter frequently changes into PJs after work since she is breast feeding an infant. The house dress is a perfect solution for her as 1 of your ‘gurls’ suggested, too.
thank you!!
Susan, I hope your feeling better. Take it easy, and stay nice and snuggly! Plus, make sure that others wait on you hand and foot. Lol!
Great post, Tania! I love 2 piece short sets and nightgowns for summer and long sleeve/pants for winter. But what I really love are house dresses for that time between getting up, showering, getting hair and makeup done and finally dressing for the day. My evening routine calls for a house dress again; getting out of the day’s outfit and watching a movie or favorite show, doing my evening skincare are all perfect for house dresses. My favorite house dresses snap in the front, have pockets and remind me of my grandma🥰 I have found great luck with the ones Amazon sells and so affordable.
Happy 4th of July Tania! Am I the only one who does not, dare I say it, sleep in any nightwear??? Ooops! (TMI)
I do however love all of these suggestions to lounge in and will be investigating the two piece items I think! Thank you Tania!
Donna!!! I have an entirely different view of you now. 🤣
Good post on PJs! I love getting comfy and snuggling in the covers. I am with your sister on the two piece sets(kinda). I buy the sets but I only sleep in the shirt. I like the sets when I am with family or traveling on a girls trip. They are nice for lounging around. The sleep shirt from Joyaria would be perfect for sleeping in. I may have to order that. Thanks. Happy Fourth !!
