BEHIND THE SCENES VOL. 3, PALM SPRINGS

Gurl’s, we had the BEST time visiting Palm Springs! The incredible heat wave that Palm Springs was experiencing kind of spooked us a little, but there really is something to be said about dry heat. We are used to humidity, so the first day or two without humidity was wonderful. Staying in the shade, getting in the pool occasionally, drinking lots of water, and renting a cabana that had misters was the plan that worked for us.

We stayed at the Parker Palm Springs resort, and this place was amazing! Joe has always held every place we’ve ever stayed to the Ritz Carlon in Cancun, and nothing ever measured up until now. The rooms were gorgeous, the property was so unique and full of history, and the food and service were exceptional. He is already making plans to visit again, possibly early next year.

We were in Palm Springs because I earned the trip through Rodan and Fields. R+F is the skincare regimen I started using soon after I began blogging, and I’ve used it consistently since early 2016.

Sharing my fashion, my beauty products, my family, and my skincare is part of my way of helping women, and it is what I love to do. Did you know that September makes SEVEN years that I’ve been blogging?!?! 

One of my first blog posts from September 2015. I’ve sure learned a lot in the past seven years. Here are a few stats that blew my mind!

It all starts small, and in September 2015, I had a total of 2,088 pageviews. Last month was the largest amount of pageviews I’ve ever had, and that was over 575,000 views.

Over the past year, my blog has been seen almost everywhere in the world! That is mind-blowing to me, and it goes to show the power of the internet. I appreciate each and every one of you who are going along with me on this journey and remember, you are never too old or too young to try something new.

I’m sure you’ve heard the song “it never rains in Southern California.” Guess what??? It POURED our last day there. Lol! A lot of gurls have left me comments saying, “can you send California some of your rain?” Turns out, I brought it with me, so…You’re Welcome!!! Haha!
