BEHIND THE SCENES VOL.2 PLUS MORE LABOR DAY SALES

It has been a week! Playing catch-up is hard, plus I’m leaving for Palm Springs on Monday, so I need to start packing. Joe and I are “wait to the last minute” packers, so that is why I sometimes don’t have everything I need for an outfit. Today’s post is a mixture of Behind The Scenes Vol.2 and more Labor Day Sales, so grab a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever your favorite beverage is, and join me for a relaxing Saturday. My mom, daughter, and I went to an estate sale. When I told Joe I had gone, he said, “you better not bring any of that junk home with you.” 😆  Lucky for him, I didn’t find anything I needed, but my daughter bought a few things, and my mom got a back scratcher. We spent about $12, so we were not the big spenders for the day.

Later that night, we all went to watch my grandsons play football. The youngest one’s game was a nail-biter and went into overtime. My grandson scored the winning touchdown, and I might have screamed and yelled like a fool. #JETTPRIDE

I took a quick photo of this hand-painted window pane at my mother’s. I love the colors, and it reminds me to stay put and not to wander out of my lane.

The last behind-the-scenes vol. 2 is a story that might benefit some of you. I was working on my Labor Day Sales; you don’t want to miss the post; I had almost finished the post and decided to double-check that all of the links worked. Every link I clicked on from Nordstorm’s wasn’t working; I would get a “something’s wrong” error. I messaged two blogger friends and asked them if they were having issues; one said no, and the other said her wifi was so bad she couldn’t tell. I cleared my cookies, which didn’t help, then I shut down, which didn’t help either. Then, I called my sister to see if she could bring up the Nordstrom website, but she was on a ZOOM call. I tried my phone and Joe’s computer, and they both wouldn’t bring up the website.

Finally, I asked my daughter what could be the issue, and she said it might be my router. She suggested that I unplug it and let it reboot and see if that would work. Voila! It now worked perfectly!!! I’ve heard of a computer getting caught in a loop, but I had never heard of a router doing that same thing. Remember this little tip if you keep experiencing issues. Hopefully, it will help.

Here is the video I was talking about. This is my son, DIL, and two of their best friends several years ago having a lot of fun singing. This always makes me smile, and I hope it brings you some joy, also.
