BANANA LEAF PRINT IS A HUGE SUMMER TREND

My home doesn’t have any palm trees or exotic plants, but the lush print of my outfit is jungle ready. A palm print or a banana leaf print is a huge trend every summer. The warmer weather of summer calls for sleeveless attire, and this fun jumpsuit is a perfect choice. I love the double v-neck style, which is my favorite because it is flattering to most people. The weather in the summer gets hot, but some of us want to add coverage to our arms without adding extra heat. So, this very lightweight and sheer cardigan is a great choice. I have this cardigan in multiple colors so that I can stay covered and cool at the same time. This long cardigan in bright green grabbed my attention, and it is such a pretty and summery color. A monochromatic look was what I was going for with this color of cardigan, but I could have worn one in white, yellow, navy, or pink for a different look.

The cardigan hits me a tiny bit below my knees and is plenty long enough to cover my bottom. I have worn this cardigan in white with a skirt, and also with a pair of shorts, and it looks fabulous. I wanted to dress up this jumpsuit, so I decided to wear this kitten-heeled gold metallic strapped sandals. These sandals are so cute and dressy, and the 1.25″ kitten heel is very manageable for almost everyone. The asymmetrical strap is a unique detail that keeps these sandals looking modern and fresh. If you are not a fan of having things tied at the waist, then you can leave the belt off and clip off the loops. I think the jumpsuit still looks just as cute when worn this way.

Or, you can choose to tie the belt in the back if you still want the look to be fitted. This way defines the waist without having the tie showing in the front. Plus, when worn this way, you can see the pleats on the front of the jumpsuit.
