ARE RUCHED SLEEVES FOR YOU

Have you ever had your car “hit” and laughed so hard that you thought you were going to pee on yourself? No? Am I the only crazy one out there? Let me tell you what happened. So, Thursday night I went to a corporate event with Rodan + Fields in Johnson City, Tennessee. There was a carload of us girls, including my Energizer Bunny Friend. I drove us to the event and when we got there the parking lot was crowded. I pulled my car into an open spot but when I pulled in I saw that it had a light pole in the spot. Since my car is long I figured that I should pull as close to the pole as I could so that I wouldn’t have my car sticking out any more than necessary. After the event was over we had decided that EBF would drive us home. It was around 9:30 pm and it was raining and dark. We were one of the few cars left in the parking lot because we had stayed after the event to eat. The car beside us (one of our friends) pulled out and EBF put the car in drive to pull out also. Since the lot was empty she intended to pull through the spot in front of us and not back up. The problem was the pole in the spot but since it was pitch black and the pole was black guess who didn’t see it? She put the car in drive and took her foot off the brake and all at once the car slammed to a stop. EBF exclaimed, “what the heck just happened?” I was in the 3rd row and I looked up and said, “did you slam on the brakes?” EBF said, “no, what is wrong?” The girl who was in the front passenger seat said as calmly as anything you have ever heard, “it is probably because you just hit that pole.” The entire car exploded in laughter, except for EBF who was mortified. The damage isn’t that bad and was mostly contained to the license tag, the holder, and just a small spot on the bumper. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff, especially when it can be fixed.I just got this ruched sleeve top in my latest Trunk Club shipment!!! I bought them a couple years ago but these are still very much in style now. This pair busted my bubble when I looked at the size which was an XL. ? Normally, I wear a size 10 in misses and an 11/12 in juniors and I will size up when the pants contain spandex. I love the stretch of the pants but I don’t want them so tight that you can count my freckles. Lol! The suede ankle boots are by Isaac Mizrahi and they compliment the jeans well. These boots come in Hazlenut, Navy, and Black also.
I haven’t carried this suede handbag by Tignanello in a long time. It is not a handbag that I carry often but I do like the two-tone color. This purse is not available now but you can still get a merlot colored purse for yourself and here are a few that are cute.

While I was talking my pictures Lucy decided to join me. She is a motley little thing but she is as sweet as they come. She is getting a whole lot more attention since Beckley passed away and she is eating it up. The poor little thing was a stray that we found about 2 years ago. I think that she was abused earlier in her life because she is still very jumpy and trembles when you pick her up. She loves to hop on my lap if I am sitting on the couch but if I bend over to pick her up she will cringe. I hope that we can calm her nerves in the upcoming months. ❄️Winter = DRY SKIN❄️
