The other day my son, Joseph, had to go out of town and he wasn’t going to be back in time to pick up Emersyn from school. He called me and asked if I could go and get her and let her spend the afternoon with me. The answer was of course, YES! He had told her that morning that I would be coming to pick her up and she was waiting and waving at me when I walked in the door. We got her a movie playing in the car and then I asked her if she wanted to stop and get some frozen yogurt. The answer was of course, YES! Since I am not the best at taking everyday pictures I decided to snap one of us at the yogurt shop. She would not be still and refused to smile. I finally gave up and started talking about my yogurt. She got a cone with orange sherbert and I got a small cup of Salted Caramel with a spoonful of brownie bites and a spoonful of cookie dough. And just because it looked pretty, I also added a small dab of chocolate syrup and caramel syrup. I showed Emersyn my yogurt but she wasn’t impressed. In just a few minutes she told me that she thought we should take a picture. I asked her if she was going to smile and she replied, YES. So we took a picture. She wanted to see the picture and after she looked at it she told me how much she loved me. Yes, my heart might have melted. In another few minutes, she said she had another idea. When I asked her what the idea was she said, “I think we should share our ice cream, don’t you?” Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner by a knockout punch. The little rat had been playing me all along just to get to my ice cream. Lol!!!I see leopard print all the time. Lol! That is almost true since animal prints are still HUGE in the fashion industry. I bought this at Trendy Threads, a local boutique in town. The label on said #m2d and I have no idea what that is. I like a kimono in the fall because they are just perfect for a little warmth but not too hot. I have this one on over a tank top so even though it was in the 80’s today I wasn’t too hot. This is actually a size S and it is still huge. I have noticed that kimonos tend to run large. I bought another one at the same time and it was a one size fits all. I think they both were about the same size. The fun thing about animal prints is that they are considered a neutral. You could wear this with bright colors or even another print. I am not great at pattern mixing so I think I’ll just stick to my tried and true fashion.
The Clarissa necklace (long one) and the Davina necklace (short one) are both new items in the Fall supplement catalog. The Clarissa is adjustable from 32″ to 35″ and it has a lot of charms attached. It has a white horn or tooth, a cut-out leaf and a solid leaf, a gray bead, a piece of chain, and a large white quartz stone. The short Davina necklace is already a favorite of mine. I love the way it is made with the gold and cream beaded chain but it is the dangles that make the necklace stand out for me. It has a matching pair of earrings called the Jaycee. I am wearing them, you just can’t see them in this picture. The Jaycee is a longer earring with a 3″ drop, very stylish!!!I have the Benni bracelet on the other arm with a new bracelet from Alex and Ani. This was a HUGE surprise from Plunder. ANYONE who signs up to be a Plunder stylist by September 30th will receive 10 EXTRA pieces of jewelry!!! That is a total of 19 pieces for 99.00. That is just a little over 5.00 per piece. That is insane, nuts, just flat out crazy. If you have ever thought about becoming a stylist NOW is the time. Go to www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens and hit the PLUNDER OPPORTUNITY button. Email me if you have any questions. It has been a while since I brought out this Dooney & Bourke purse. It is one of my favorites but it is so heavy. I like all the different compartments but even when it is empty it still weighs quite a bit. I guess that is called “quality.”
I absolutely love this pair of black Coach pumps. They are the classic pump design without any frills or fanfare. There are times when you just can’t beat the classics. These will be perfect with any dress and as you can see, they look great with ankle pants too. I lucked up and found this pair at my overstock store in town so I only paid 25.00 for these! When I find deals like that I should just buy all of them and then let you gurls get in on the deals too. If only I had the time, the energy, the space to store them, etc…..
I know that you ladies believe me when I tell you that I love R+F. I also know that you can see the difference in my pictures from when I first started the blog back in September of 2015. But I messed up and erased (thanks to a computer malfunction) an actual before photo. However, today I am going to share (with permission) a photo that a reader (now a consultant) sent to me today showing me her before and after photos. She is in her 60’s and is pretty happy with her results so far. The Redefine Regimen/Hydration serum combo with the FREE mini travel regimen (only available until the 28th) is what you would use to produce these results. I have not used the products on my chest area but you can bet that I am going to try them now. Holy Moley! That is flat out impressive! Click on the I ❤️ R+F button to the right of my blog and it will take you to my website. Be sure to take advantage ofa 10% savings and FREE shipping by placing the order as a Preferred Customer.

Maybe I’ve missed it in previous posts, are your pants from Old Navy? The pixie style? How long ago did you get them? I was just wondering if they still had some in that color. I have such a hard time finding the right tan. Thanks for your help! And btw, you’re looking fantastic!
Another home run outfit today Tania! I just love animal print! It was so good to talk with you the other day; I really enjoyed the chat about R+F! The story about Emersyn is so cute….it’s like in essence she was saying, “I’ll trade you my smile for your ice cream.” lol
Always thought leopard print was for old ladies, ha I’m 61, and the Hollywood Elite. Love the print and love your look. Grandkids, don’t you just love them!
Just found your blog yesterday on Pinterest. I was searching “Work Outfits for Women in 50s”. I stopped at all of your pictures. A BIG THANK YOU! You have shown me I don’t have to look dowdy because I am mature. Love your looks!
Your kimono is fantastic and the whole look is fabulous. You’re so right about animal prints, especially leopard. There’s an exotic quality that they lend to an outfit that is hard to achieve with any other pattern.
I feel so much better after reading this post. Last night I read one of those articles on “what baby boomer’s shouldn’t wear” and I am wearing a LOT of these things. I had just bought a beautiful sheer poncho from Chico’s yesterday (both a no-no) and I love wearing crop pants and animal prints. I have have leopard leggings! So seeing you looking radiant and beautiful in this outfit today made my morning!! Keep showing us what style really looks like! I’m with you all the way!
Those kind of articles make me furious! Why should we not wear certain articles of clothing just because we reach a certain age? Ridiculous! If something makes you feel beautiful and confident, you should rock it – whatever your age!!
It’s been amazing how big the leopard has continued–I totally agree.
I remember when I cleaned out my mom’s closet (the 70+ model on my blog) and found quite a few pieces of animal print already in there!! And the trend hasn’t slowed down—which is great!!
XOXO

Christine, I am sure they are Old Navy. I have about 3 pairs of them in different shades of tan. I am not sure how old that pair was.
