ANIMAL PRINT OVER 50

This new time is already starting to play havoc with my system. When I get home from work it is already dark outside. Today a friend of ours installed some LED lights under our carport. He was busy changing things out as I got ready to leave for work. I mentioned to him that the only thing that would make the lights even better was if they were on a timer so that they came on at dark and turned themselves off during the day. He laughed and said it would be that way by the time I got home. Evidently, Joe and I think alike because he had already asked Ron to do that very thing. Lol!As soon as I hit the door from work, I am starting to yawn. I think it is all in my mind but I can hardly keep my eyes open. Joe must be feeling the same way because he came home and fell asleep when he sat down on the couch. I did resist the couch but if I yawned once I yawned a hundred times. I was afraid that if I took a quick nap then I would be up all night long. Instead, I got up and walked around for a few minutes, then I took the dogs outside and got a breath of fresh air. By the time all of that was done the sleepiness had passed and I was good to go. My mom has her tried and true method of drinking a coke and eating a candy bar when she gets sleepy and she is traveling. That didn’t sound like the best thing for me to do at 7:00 pm at night.I am all about simple today. I might normally be known for being colorful but here lately I am embracing the dark side. Lol! Burgundy, browns, and today I am all about black. My sister would be so proud of me. Haha! But, I felt the need to lighten the look by wearing white jeans. The top I have on is so cute. It has chiffon pockets and a really cute back detail. Unfortunately, it is only available in XXS now. I normally wear a large in most tops but when I purchase anything from QVC the size is different. This is a small that I am wearing today. You can go to your closet and find any black top since I am sure most of you have one. Some of you might have 35 or more. Lol!

When my mom came to visit me for the vintage fashion show, she was looking through my jewelry seeing what she liked and wanted to order. These were only 79.00 and I thought that was a great price. I couldn’t wait to wear them for you on the blog. This was the gentleman who my sister got a little peeved with when she told him I was a blogger and she didn’t think that he was impressed enough. Lol! I love the boots against the white background of the jeans. They probably would look just as good against a dark background. White jeans are perfectly fine to wear after labor day nowadays. We are no longer held to the old fashion rules. You will be able to wear this all year long.

Mirror mirror on the wall. Have you ever noticed how many of the Disney movies have mirrors in them and it seems they all contain something scary? That is sometimes how I felt when I looked in the mirror and saw my reflection looking back. How does it start out so slow and end up looking like a Shar Pei dog?
