AFFORDABLE FASHIONS

I’m thankful for BJs wholesale club because I buy all of my Gloria Vanderbilt jeans there at a great discount. I’m also thankful for Glamour Farms because they have great prices and fun dresses and tops.
Enjoyed your post! I had a nice cup of tea. I love thrift stores! I have found some amazing things and brand new with the tags still on! A couple of weeks ago I purchased a beautiful genuine Dooney and Bourke handbag (one in the catalog now) for $3.99 (not three hundred ninety nine dollars but three dollars ninety nine cents)! I used to be the General Manager of a major thrift store chain and let me tell you, it was amazing the things that came in. I think a lot were donated by women who were shopaholics and a lot from the retail stores themselves. To the women who say “I would never shop in a thrift store”, I say I also was in management in several stores in the mall and you would be surprised and shocked at the people, men included, that would come in and try on women’s clothing. I had one women tell me “I don’t want to try the things on until I get home and take a shower” I thought “honey you should take a shower AFTER you try them on”! I have horror stories of retail stores but will not share. Don’t get me wrong I like to go to retail stores too like Kohl’s and Old Navy but, I love going to thrift stores!
Love that you did affordable clothes!
This is why I love your blog, you post affordable clothes. Hope you have a great trip. Now I’m going to check Old Navy on line!
Love Cato! I can always find something cute and the prices can’t be beat. Very trendy.
So thankful for Catos. Love they stuff and so affordable. I call them disposable clothes cause its not a huge investment.
Thanks for the ideas today.
I’m thankful for JCPeney. I find things in the store and online. I buy only sale items though.
I’m thankful for the great sale on sales at the Lucky brand store — you can stack a coupon on top of a sale there. Not everything there is for me, but I find great unusual pieces and then I wait for the right deal to pop up. Easy return policies too — I often shop on online for larger selection, and do my returns at the storefront in my neighborhood.
Thanks for the shopping video. Great idea! I love seeing what other people buy, esp if they are affordable! I am thankful for Maurices clothing store, so many nice options that coordinate together. Have a great weekend!!
This is the kind of shopping I like. I am ordering a few things. I love your blog and I appreciate ALL the help staying fashionable at 55. Dressing nice has always been important to me. Being a widow for 5 years has been so tough, but I have managed to keep myself together and dressing nice has helped. May seem strange to some, but my appearance has always been important to me.
