AFFORDABLE AND STYLISH

I bet all of you are going, oooooh! I know because that is the very same reaction I had when I saw this dress for the first time. I don’t know if it is the style, the lace overlay, or the ombre colour scheme that I like the best. But, when you put all three together you have a winning combination. When Chadwicks of Boston asked me if I wanted to work them again I was more than ready. I love their clothing and I like that they are so affordable. I had in the back of my mind something I could wear to the beach. I am in vacation mode and I was purposely looking for a dress that I could see me wearing when we go to the beach. This Lace Ombre Maxi dress was pretty much what I had envisioned, I knew I wanted a tank top styled dress and the ombre design reminds me of the ocean. I am not sure why but it does.  I wanted you to see how pretty this overlay is. It is exquisite!!! Also, notice how wide the straps are on this dress. These are the perfect width because you are able to wear a normal bra and not have to wear the dreaded strapless bra. This is also one of my favourite necklines, the deep scoop helps to elongate your neck but it does not show cleavage. Let’s be honest ladies, we are at the age where “nobody wants to see that.”Lol!
The ombre is such a pretty shade of coral, and it is also is available in turquoise and lilac. The dress is fully lined and showcases the ombre skirt really well. I wore this to church on Sunday and I had three ladies stop me and ask where they could find the dress. Two of them had summer weddings to attend and they thought this would be perfect. I hope they both weren’t planning to go to the same wedding! Ooops. The dress has a hidden zipper closure on the side for ease of putting on. I love how form fitting the dress is in the bust area and then is fuller in the skirt. This is really flattering to everyone. I ordered a size large originally but it was too big under the arms for me so I reordered the dress in a medium. I still had plenty of room, in fact, I didn’t even unzip the dress to put it on.
