50 IS NOT OLD | A SUMMERTIME OUTFITThe other day when I told you that I had nothing to talk about someone commented that I could talk about dinner and it would still be entertaining. You know that I took that as a challenge, right? So, let’s talk about dinner or supper, whichever you call it. Here at my house, the two words are used the same and they both mean the meal we eat after we get home from work. 50 IS NOT OLD | A SUMMERTIME OUTFITFriday and sometimes Saturday nights are “I don’t have to cook” nights. Sometimes we go out of the house to eat, sometimes we go pick up something and bring it back home to eat, and sometimes we scrounge. Scrounging is when we stand and look in the refrigerator for minutes on end just looking for something to eat. My problem is side dishes. I always have some kind of meat available but I just can’t seem to keep side dishes on hand. I like something that I can fix one night and it lasts for a couple of nights. I hate to cook! This week I made a huge bowl of pasta salad that was delish. That is the kind of dishes I need EXCEPT I really need something a little better on the waist line. YEP, I want recipe’s from you. They must be easy, simple, taste good, and diet friendly. How hard could this be? Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | A SUMMERTIME OUTFITUntil I start on a diet and lose a little weight I guess I will just wear tops like this one from Lisa Rinna. This top has many nice details like the little silver bar at the neckline. Even the little key hole opening is a flattering detail. The top is oversized but the way it lays on your body keeps it from looking like a box. The top is on sale and comes in several colors.50 IS NOT OLD | A SUMMERTIME OUTFITBecause I was wearing white pants I decided to add the white drop earrings from Plunder Design. These earrings have a 3″ drop and are extremely lightweight. All of these earrings in this style are only 8.00 each. You need to stock up on several colors, like red, black, white, navy, ivory, and pink. That way you only have to pay the shipping costs once. These make really cute presents to keep on hand or start stocking up on your Christmas presents early. 50 IS NOT OLD | A SUMMERTIME OUTFITThis Colleen necklace has turned into one of my favorites simply because it is so versatile to wear. It looks great with silver or gold, it is a great length, and I do love monogrammed items. Lol! 50 IS NOT OLD | A SUMMERTIME OUTFITI have on two bracelets on my left hand. The Lucinda pearl bracelet has a mixture of floral designs. (I found a way to sneak in florals Hahaha!) The other bracelet is a little hard to see. It is the Leslie. It says Bless on the face and it has red hearts printed around that. It also has some red beads that are on the chain.50 IS NOT OLD | A SUMMERTIME OUTFITMy Dooney & Bourke purse has a few wet spots still visible. Lol! It rained last night so I set my fern out in the rain to be watered. I moved it back to its normal spot when I got ready to take pictures. I didn’t even think about it being wet and I brushed up against it and got my purse all wet. Thankfully it is drying without leaving spots. I love this style purse because it has separate compartments and it is big enough to carry all my necessary items in.

50 IS NOT OLD | A SUMMERTIME OUTFITWhite jeans, if you don’t have a pair then go get a pair now. I am just telling you that once you start wearing white you will wonder how in the world you ever did without. I could wear white almost every day of the week and be happy. Oh yeah, I had on white yesterday too. Lol! I had almost forgotten. That doesn’t count because those were shorts and not pants.

50 IS NOT OLD | A SUMMERTIME OUTFITThe month of July is almost over. Whew! It has been a wild month in my Rodan + Fields business! I have signed on more consultants than ever before, even signing my first consultant in Canada. I am more thrilled for these ladies than you can imagine. I love when ladies purchase products because I know that they are going to be seeing great results but I really love when they sign up as a consultant. I know that they are getting the best possible price and if they want to have additional income that all they have to do is put time and effort into the business. I love seeing them succeed even more than when I do. If you are interested in learning more then just let me know. We will set up a call and discuss what is the best option for you.

  2. Tania, I have that top in beige and black but I know I paid MUCH more than you did! Love the purple/Iris color on you. Every time I see you in a QVC overstock item I think I must plan my trip down your way! The discounts you get are fantastic! I am with you….I don’t enjoy cooking? Luckily, my husband doesn’t hold that against me. Hope you get some good recipe suggestions. Have a great weekend!

  3. Cute outfit! As far as sides, we cut up a lot of veggies (two cookie sheets worth) drizzle with olive oil and salt & pepper and roast. Easy to reheat, add to eggs, etc.

    1. That is an excellent way to cook veggies and it’s healthy too!!!

I love white jeans Tania I have a couple of pairs I even wore them for my 25th anniversary party with heels of course ! ? my side dish is ” tomatoes onion mushrooms all roughly chopped into a saucepan with a good knob of butter (maybe not the best for the diet ?)fresh garlic salt and pepper stir occasionally serve on top of steak with homemade fries or a salad I love to mop the last bits with bread actually with this recipe you might need to buy a few more of Lisa’s tops ???

  7. I was planning on buying white trousers! But I still havn t. I never have worn white jeans. The combination of colors you are wearing is very good! I love those colors together. Have a great weekend!

  8. That color top looks amazing on you. And of course a gal can never have just one pair of white pants. As for the side dish, I chop cucumber ?, tomatoes ?, radishes, yellow pepper, maybe some garbanzo beans and whatever else has staying power. I make a big batch cover and leave in fridge. For dinner you can add lettuce to your salad ? or just eat the veg mix. It lasts 3 or so days in the fridge. And it’s healthy.

    1. Debbie, that sounds great. I am going to the store later so this will be on my list. Thanks for following.
