A PUFFER JACKET FOR A COLD AND WINDY DAY

I managed to survive the early morning wake-up call and drive to Nashville to put my daughter on a plane to Alaska. A lot of you mentioned how hard that must have been, and it never gets easier. The thing that I have to keep telling myself is that she deserves to pick her own life and live it her way, not mine. But, that doesn’t mean that I don’t try to coax her into coming back to the lower forty-eight. Lol!

She and I went for a walk the other day, and I asked her to take a few photos of my outfit for all of you. I’ve been so busy over the past month, so comfy and cozy have been my style more days than not. This sweater set is fantastic for working around the house, but it looks nice enough to run errands also.

After taking off my puffer jacket, you can see how pretty and unique this sweater set looks. What I love about sweater sets is the fact that they can be worn together or with other items. It isn’t like you HAVE to wear these items together, so that gives you more versatility.

The sweater has a slightly relaxed vibe to it, so I ordered a medium. The sweater is roomy enough and still oversized which is the look that I wanted. I would say the sweater runs a little large, so if you want a slimmer fit, order a size down. This entire set also comes in a soft green just in case you already have a navy sweater set.

The matching navy sweater pants also have a design, but it is not as prominent as the design on the sweater. The diamond design that runs down the front of the sweater runs down the side of the pants. I am telling you, this outfit looks way more expensive than it is! The pants are pull-on, so they are comfy to wear all day long. I am wearing a medium, and they fit great.

I am wearing my Brooks GTS 21 sneakers that I use for walking. Since I had a small flare-up with Plantar Fascitis, I wear them all day long. I took my friend’s advice and sized up a half size to a 9 1/2, and they fit me great. These have become my shoe of choice most days since I am still trying to baby my Plantar Fascitis.

I don’t know if you can see my Rudolph red nose, but it was freezing when we were walking. The wind was blowing hard, so a lot of my pictures show my hair going in every direction. As we were walking out the door, I grabbed this light aqua-colored quilted puffer jacket, and I am so glad that I did.

This is a great lightweight everyday jacket. It has lots of pockets so you have plenty of space for a phone, wallet, gloves, etc. I am wearing a large, which is what I usually wear in coats since I want to be able to wear a sweater also. The color of this jacket is called Vibrant Blue, but I think it is green/blue like aqua.

Since I was standing in the shadows, I decided to take a photo in the bright sunshine so you could gauge the color of the jacket better. I still think my description of light aqua is better than their Vibrant Blue. Lol!

I didn’t get a lot of feedback regarding the giveaway, so this week will be the last one for now. I’ve missed commenting back to your comments, so after this week, we will go back to normal. I will probably do another one the week of Christmas, so be looking for that one.

Love the color of the jacket.
I am so busy looking at the clothes that I totally missed any giveaway LOL
I love the idea of the sweater pants and sweater to match!
You are so right about reminding yourself that our kids have to live their own lives, not ours. I definitely have to do more of that. Lol. The outfit is cute and does look very comfy. I agree with you about your color description of the jacket. Does not look vibrant at all. Sorry to see the giveaways go. I did respond but as you said, I guess not enough people did.
Your outfit looks so warm and cozy!
