COLD SHOULDER SWEATER

This weekend for the very first time I got to babysit baby boy Beckham. Well, almost the first time, since the first time was actually right after he was born and his momma had to go back in the hospital for one night. But this weekend I kept him and Emersyn while their mom and dad got to spend just a few hours alone. They went to a festival in a neighboring town to enjoy the day. Emersyn is actually a big help in taking care of her baby brother. Except for the part where she is like a tornado when it comes to the house. She thinks she needs to get all her toys out and rummage through all the drawers in the house. She looked around and said,”wow, this is a big mess. Who is going to clean all this up.” She wasn’t too happy when I informed her that the person who made the mess was going to be picking it back up. Lol!The weather is getting cooler and tops that are long sleeved feel pretty good. This blue ribbed Umgee top is so cute and the sleeve openings are modest. I was thinking when I bought this that cold shoulder and sweater just didn’t seem to go together. I think they call that an oxymoron. Haha! I bought this at the local boutique but I found a couple cute cold shoulder tops online for you. Be sure to check out your local boutiques when shopping, they have some really neat clothing items.

I am wearing the Nicky necklace for you today. In the catalog, they show this necklace knotted but I like it to just hang loose. It is a multi-colored strand of pearls and it is approximately 20″ long. My gold circle hoop earrings are the Bowie. They have a longer drop at 3.5″ but they are so dainty and lightweight that they are not overwhelming. The last piece of plunder that I have on is the Gail bracelet. I like the mixture of pearl, beads, and gold chain. The metal plate says HOPE. I bet you can’t guess where all of my bangles are from. Lol! I can’t help it, I am hooked on Alex and Ani bracelets. These GILI espadrille wedge shoes are not that easy to walk in. I am amazed when I see others wearing a platform shoe because I am so clumsy in them. I stub my toe and I about fell off one the other day, I thought for sure I had hurt my ankle. Just call me “grace!” Lol! None of that stops me from wearing them when I need extra height or just a navy shoe. The unique detail of the gold chain on the heel really sets this shoe apart from others. The name of this shoe is the SOHO. I am still not tired of my new Kate Spade satchel that I won. I am afraid you will be seeing me carry this for a looong time, I am totally enamored.

And now on to the white jeans that I have on. You all know how I feel about white jeans, everyone needs a pair. This pair is a cropped pair but I also have a longer pair just in case one of them are dirty. White goes with everything. White is classic. White is probably on sale right now so go and buy a pair or two. Lol!
