50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT IS AN EYELASH SWEATER | FASHION OVER 40 In yesterday’s blog post (here), I asked you about your strengths. And, I have not decided that leaving comments is not your strength. Lol! I crack myself up!!! I told you that people have a hard time telling you what their strengths are, but dang ladies…I KNOW that you are strong women. I wanted to hear you ROAR!
50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT IS AN EYELASH SWEATER | FASHION OVER 40 I listed that my mindset was a strength of mine. I also have other things that I consider strengths. I am loyal, determined, persistent, genuine, faithful, honest, empathetic, caring, helpful, courageous… This is not a “brag on me” post; instead, it is a post that wants you to realize that you are more than you think. I could also give you a long list of my weaknesses, but I choose not to concentrate on what I am not. We are what we think about, so thinking about a weakness can make us depressed and…weak. Instead, acknowledge your weakness, and then have this thought, “I might not be good at —–, but I am great at —–!” Change your mindset, and you can change your life. Maybe I should have also listed philosopher to my list of strengths. Lol!
50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT IS AN EYELASH SWEATER | FASHION OVER 40 Do you have an eyelash sweater? These are the cutest sweaters, and they are sooo soft. I stopped on my way home from Tennessee at a small outdoor mall, and I picked up a few things. I was drawn to the print, but the blush color was what made me go ahead with the purchase. I bought this at Versona, which is a sister store of Cato Fashions. Here is the link to the sweater. I know the sizes are limited, so here are a few other similar items.

50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT IS AN EYELASH SWEATER | FASHION OVER 40 The Garner earrings, and the matching Cole necklace, both have gold circles & leopard print, and a turquoise center. The necklace is strung on bright red beads with attached gold discs for an extra pop of color. The Rochelle leopard print gold cuff is gorgeous. The bracelet has a spring hinge, so it is easy to put on and take off.
50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT IS AN EYELASH SWEATER | FASHION OVER 40 I dug my dark chocolate corduroy pants out of the closet today. I am a huge fan of corduroy pants in the fall and winter, and it doesn’t matter to me if they are the thin or wide rib variety. These pants are bootcut, so I took the opportunity to wear my ankle boots from Old Navy. These boots have a chunky block heel, and they are a beautiful beige color.

50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT IS AN EYELASH SWEATER | FASHION OVER 40 I want to thank everyone who has invited others to my blog. Keep inviting, and remember to comment when you have done that to be entered into a drawing on Monday. Next, I want to thank everyone who joined me on the ZOOM call last night. I had a great time talking to you, and I want to get a free gift out to you for joining me. Email me your address to taniastephens12@gmail.com

Also, I wanted to share an article with you that listed the Top Ten products from Rodan + Fields. I use every one of them, except for the products that deal with acne. If you place an order (as a Preferred Customer) today for any of the products on this list, then I will reimburse you an extra 10%. Get it…top ten and 10% off. Once again, I crack myself up. Lol!

Cute outfit! Love the eyelash sweater! I’ll be looking for one! Sorry I don’t comment everyday, but I do enjoy your emails!!! I figured you had tons of comments and wouldn’t miss mine. I’d say my strengths are being kind, loyal, helpful and I’ll try to think of a dew more! Have a great day and weekend!

I left my comment on either FB or IG….can’t remember which one, LOL! Apparently, short term memory is NOT one of my strengths. I bought those Kut From the Kloth cords you talked about a couple of weeks ago and they are phenomenal! Thanks for passing along how much you loved them 🙂

Okay, I’ll chime in. It’s funny how difficult it is for us to talk about our strengths. I am dependable, creative, a good leader and a good team player. I’m a good wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Laura, I wonder why it is difficult to talk about our strengths?!? If we ever get started thinking about the things that we are good at, it escalates and grows bigger and bigger. Writing these down, and then reading them when we feel “less than,” will brighten your mood.

Love the sweater and the cords! And I have to tell you, your new facebook picture is beautiful. You definitely do not look your age. So there’s a strength for me – I’m good at giving compliments and meaning them. Wouldn’t give them if I didn’t! Ha! I’m also a good cook, mom, wife, sister and a hard worker.

That sweater is lovely. Looks great on you!
My strengths are that I am very loyal, a really good baker, a friend to all, devoted to my family and very organized. Yes, as woman it’s very difficult to talk about our strengths.

Tania, I told two people about your wonderful blog. ?

  8. What a darling sweater! Such a nice idea for us all to list our strengths! And it was fun reading the glamor skin care routines of those ladies!

I love Versona! I live two hours from good shopping, where there are actually a variety of clothing stores to choose from. I live in Hickville ;-D Not really the name, but might as well be. We have very little shopping here. We do have a Cato’s, but never really find much in there, but Versona usually delivers with something cute.
    Have a great weekend!
