Try On Haul With Walmart Beauty Products

It’s been a while since I’ve done a try-on haul with Walmart Beauty Products. I saw that Walmart carries Clean Beauty items, so I decided to try a few products.

Once I started looking online, I ordered a full-face look for early spring. This Revlon Illuminance Foundation in Toasted Beige is lightweight and perfect for spring. It seems to give a slightly glowy look, which is a plus.

Next, I applied the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Instant Eraser Multi-Use Concealer, 110. I love the sponge applicator, but there is a small trick to using it. Once you take the lid off, you have to twist the top of the applicator and then start dabbing. It will take a while for the product to flow, but it applies smoothly once it does. I don’t notice any creasing under my eyes, and I like the coverage.

I always use a setting powder before I apply blush. I use liquid foundation; your blush will grab and look too bright if you don’t apply setting powder first. I ordered the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder in Medium because I’ll soon have a tan. (could be real or faux)

I shake some product into the lid and then apply it to my brush. Shake the excess off the brush before using.

I love this medium shade, and it will be fabulous for spring and summer.

This was my first time trying L’Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Blush in Apricot Kiss. I like the color, but I wish the blush was slightly more pigmented. I had to apply several times to get the shade I wanted.

Apply your blush to your hairline to help soften the edges of your face.

I’m a huge fan of brown-tone eyeshadows. The Maybelline Eyestudio Nudes of New York Eyeshadow Palette has 16 pallets to choose from, some matte and some in shimmer.

This palette had great pigmentation, and the color stayed on well.

Add a tiny shimmer in the middle of your eyelid to highlight and draw attention to your iris.

You can use your eyeshadow on your lids, as an eyeliner, and even as a brown pencil. It is very versatile, and I do this a lot when traveling, so I don’t have to pack so many products.

The only flaw I have with the Maybelline Brow Extensions Fiber Pomade Crayon Eyebrow Makeup Crayon is that it is not precise. I would love it way more if it had a sharper point.

To set my brows, I used Milani the Clear Brow, Clear Eyebrow Gel To Enhance Your Eyebrow Makeup. This vegan product sets and defines your brows great.

I ordered Maybelline Green Edition Mega Mousse Mascara Makeup, Very Black, and RIMMEL Kind & Free Clean Mascara, 001 Black, since they were both “clean” products. Both of these mascaras did a great job, but I like the Maybelline Green Edition Mega Mousse Mascara best.

This is why I never leave the house without wearing mascara.

The final product I use when putting on makeup is a setting spray. The NYX Professional Makeup Setting Spray, Matte Finish, Long-Lasting, Vegan Formula gave me a matte finish, I didn’t notice a fragrance, and it is vegan. My makeup was still intact at the end of the day, so I think this did a great job.

Walmart makes it very convenient for its customers to shop, especially since most people have a store within 10 miles of their homes. You can also sign up for Walmart+, where you get Free Shipping with no order minimums (excludes most Marketplace items, location & freight surcharges) and Free Delivery (where available) with orders over $35. I take advantage of home delivery several times a week and love that small convenience.

Walmart sponsors this post, and I will receive compensation, but the opinions expressed are my own.

  1. Thank you for this post. I usually use Thrive mascara. I will to try the Maybelline mascara. I really look forward to your emails/ blog 😊

  2. Since we have the same coloring, I just clicked on all of your links last night, added them to my Walmart cart and placed my order! My package is waiting for me on my porch!! You and Walmart made it so easy & convenient!!!

  3. Thank you for sharing beauty products that don’t cost a fortune. I use many of these products. When it comes to beauty products many women can’t afford to pay $50-$100 on makeup and lotions that probably don’t work any better then the drug store products.

  4. I am very leery about ordering makeup, especially foundation, online because I’m afraid it will be way too dark for my very fair skin tone. Wal-Mart is becoming my go-to store for online purchases.

  5. This was a fun post. Everything is so expensive right now. I know this will help a lot of people. I like Elf products as well, and I get them from Walmart. I like their Holy Hydration moisturizer.

  6. Love this post, Tania! I’m switching over to clean beauty more and more. Thanks for sharing your finds at Walmart, so many clean beauty products can be pricey. It’s great to know that there are now more reasonably priced options.

  7. Thank you for sharing these great makeup products! I would love to try the Revlon foundation. Hope you have a great Tuesday!

  8. Love the look! The only thing I hesitate on is the finishing powder. I have tried so many brands. They all make my skin look so dry and stay in the creases.

  9. You have beautiful eye lashes. I would love to try that mascara but my eyes are sensitive and whenever I veer from my tried and true -it irritates my eyes.

  10. I love that you’re showing “clean” brands. NYX, Milani, and Rimmel are all cruelty free as well, which is something that I personally look for. They’re definitely good choices at a good price point.

  11. Thanks for reviewing these products. I already use that brand of blush. I will be trying the Milan clear brow gel as it will probably help with a couple of “wild” ones that want to stand up.
Enjoy your posts and reviews of products.

  12. Love all the product ideas. I will have to try some soon. Trying to use up some of the extras I have right now! Didn’t realize I had so much until I cleaned out the bathroom closet! So hard to find the right shade…I bet I have 35 or 40 lipsticks!

  13. Even though I’m retired, I still try to put on my “face” every day. I’ve tried to transition away from the high end cosmetics I used for years. I’ve found that Walmart offers many products that I like just as well as if not better. Milani blush is my favorite.

  14. Great products! I’m set in my ways and always use my tried and true cosmetics, but these were great options. Especially anything from L’Oréal… LOVE that brand for my skincare!!

  15. thankyou for sharing these products. I’m 70 years old and trying new products, need more coverage for dark spots, and wrinkles. I have been considering products that are way out of my budget!! I may try these products!!

  16. Thanks for the review of affordable and easy to find products at Walmart. I use a mix of higher and lower price makeup depending on what works best for me. I can always count on you to show a variety of product costs and I truly appreciate that about your blog! Keep up the good work!!!

  17. I buy most of my makeup through Walmart online as it’s so convenient to have it shipped to our front door, or curbside pickup. I don’t wear much makeup since retiring, a little mascara, eyebrows, lipstick and done! My biggest obstacle is always finding auburn or brown mascara. Black is way too harsh on this very pale. redhead!
Great overview of products, thank you 😊

  18. Some great makeup tips and products. I am always on the lookout for affordable makeup so can’t wait to add these. Thanks!

  19. Thanks for the review. I love trying new makeup. BTW: how do you keep one eye closed and one open like that? 😀

  20. I enjoy getting the makeup options for the everyday woman, Thank you! I really like the Maybelline Nude eyeshadow palette, it’s my favorite! You get so many different color options from this palette.

  21. Thank you so much! This is perfect for my budget and because of you we signed up for Walmart+ and have absolutely loved it!

  22. Hi my name is Jean. I’ve been following you for a while and love your blog. Your eyelashes are amazing and I’m wondering if you use a growth serum. If so what brand. Thanks for all help!

  23. I need to try these brow products. I always have trouble finding the right product to use. My brows are a victim of the 80s and 90s overplucking days. They never quite grew back.

  24. Thank you so much for sharing! I have found, since getting older, that eyeshadows don’t seem to be as pigmented on my lids as they used to. I use a concealer on my lids which helps. Also my lashes… my lashes are no where near as long as they used to be! Oh the joys of aging…

  25. Thank you! thank you! thank you !!!- All your tips are for the average woman and make me feel like I can be beautiful at any age ! One of the only blogs I read in a daily basis! Can’t wait to see what’s next

  26. I will have to try the concealer again. I’ve tried it before but not with great results. Definitely will need to get the eye shadow for travel in May. Thanks for the affordable tips!
