Nothing looks more like Spring and Summer than a crisp white outfit. Add in a floral print button-up shirt, and you’ve got a recipe for the perfect Spring and Summer outfit.
The Wild Iris Floral Shirt is not only gorgeous, but it is also NON-IRON! The primary colors of this shirt are black and white, but the pop of blue adds interest and fun. I love the contrast facing inside the collar and cuffs that give this top added flair. A 3/4 sleeve is my favorite sleeve length since it is the most flattering. If I have a long-sleeved shirt on, I will roll up the sleeves to this length.
Here is the view from the back. I love the length; it gives me plenty of coverage. I’m wearing a size 10, and the fit is perfect.
The sun was shining bright, and the temperatures were in the 70s, so I only draped my Wild Iris Blue Cotton Twill Jacket over my shoulders. The lightweight jacket felt good this morning, but I didn’t need it this afternoon. This jacket can be dressed up or down, and it will be fine for a business setting or running errands.
The color matches the floral print shirt perfectly, but this jacket will also look great with other tops. I’ll link to some below for you. I am wearing a large, and the jacket is perfect, especially if I want to layer it with a sweater.
The other day I wore a pair of Wedgewood blue chino pants, and I mentioned that I had a pair of white Dennisport Comfort-Waist Chinos on order. These Comfort Waist Chinos are so comfortable, and they look fantastic. These pants have a flattering flat front and an elastic waist in the back, which gives them the comfort level we all want. I feel like the pants have a slightly tapered straight leg, and I like the silhouette.
Here is a view from the back so you can see how they fit. I was a little worried that the white pants might be see-through, but they ended up being fine. I’m wearing a size 8, and they fit great.
When you wear the same color shoes as your pants, you make your legs look longer and leaner. These Bandolino Slip-On Leather Loafers are comfortable, and I have them in navy also. They go with everything and are easy to wipe clean, plus they have a lightly padded insole for added comfort. I love the slip-on style; I would rather slip my feet in and go out the door. These shoes run true to size, and I am wearing my usual size 9.
