Fast forward to the end of the summer last year. I was out of town, and Joe and my son decided to close the pool for the winter. They drained a lot of the water, and the light was easily accessible for them. So, the “fix-it” version of Joe decided to look into the light issue one more time. They took the whole light apart, and Joe called me so excited that he had fixed the light!!! Come to find out…the bulb hadn’t been screwed in tight enough. LOL! I laughed and laughed at him. We were so excited to open the pool this year since we were finally going to have a pool light. It didn’t work! I thought that he was going to explode. Thankfully, it was just a bad bulb, and he ordered a new one that arrived on Friday. Installing the new lightbulb was not an easy task since the light is under 3 feet of water.

Psalms 46:10
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;I will be exalted among the nations,I will be exalted in the earth.”
Oh your Joe is such a handy Guy! Lol! I love polka Dots too, they are so girly. Love that pretty dress!
Joe is very handy, and most of the time I love that trait. But, occasionally I want to replace something, but he keeps fixing it. Lol!
Seeing you in this dress reminds me how much I love that color of green. I need to find this shade to add to my wardrobe. The hunt begins ?
I love this shade of green also. I don’t wear a lot of green, but I do love the brighter greens.
I really like that shade of green and the dress is so cute! I wish I could wear bangle bracelets but my large bones won’t allow it. Have a great day!
Gayle, you need to wear cuff bracelets. They can be pulled apart and adjusted.
I’d give anything to have a “Joe” around just to fix things! You are so pretty in that green dress. I love polka dots and just ordered a cute summer dress with polka dots! It’s a fun design. Happy lights are working in the pool. Hot holiday here and I’m exhausted from it! Staying in today and keeping safe!
Polka dots are soo fun – this dress is so cute!!
Glad you enjoyed some pool time & thank goodness Joe got to the bottom of the pool light issue!! ??
Have a blessed day!!
Sherli, I haven’t told him that I put him on the blog again. LOL! He doesn’t need to know everything.
I LOVE that shade of green!! You are right about polka dots. And those shoes really do go with everything! That was a great investment! Thank you for blessing my day, hope yours is blessed as well!
Wow! That looks great on you!

Enjoyed the pool light story! We have a door sensor on our front door and it’s set up as a knock sensor. I put a big ugly sharpie created sign telling amazon to please knock ferheavenssake because they seem to be intimidated by my ring doorbell. Will not use it. So last week the knock stopped telling me there was a knock so I spent an hour removing it and adding it back to the hub. Finally I took out the battery. Put in what I thought was a fresh one. Did not work. So got in the car and went to buy a battery that I had to stand in line in 99° to get in. Note to self: avoid Home Depot or learn to wait for amazon to send one. Got the battery and armed with a home made iced latte I put it in and wouldn’t you know it worked. Now, if my hubby had tried this he would have disassembled the entire sensor and declared it dead. In a fairness I will admit a Button Switch for my undercounter LED lights made by same company did fail. And it occurs to me that the battery that I started with was one I took out of the dead Button before sending it back to Amazon. I forgot to consider the most common cause. I’ve a burned out bulb in my bath vanity. Going to see if it’s loose before I go to Home Depot. Second note to self: do not buy light fixtures that require some weirdo size bulb.
Save that dress for St. Paddy’s Day Lol. Me, I’m Scots Irish. We wear orange! My ancestors settled in Orange County, later Botetourt, in 1746 so I guess we’ve been wearing orange a long long time!
Got to the bottom of? Now that’s funny. LOL
I love this green color too. I just bought two tie at the waist summer blouses in polka dots. They only had black with white dot or Navy/ grey, I really wanted a green or red. I’m craving color. You look so kool in that dress and I agree about certain shades of gold just work with everything. I have pale champagne gold, snakeskin sandals.
Love the cute green dress! The neckline is pretty, very feminine! We have a pool too, it’s probably 40 years old. My husband Mike is a fix it kinda guy! He has kept that old pool going for the 26 years we’ve lived here! He fixes everything around here! He’s quite the guy, my hero!❤
