KOHL’S STYLE FOR SPRING AND SUMMER

My daughter and I stopped by Kohl’s the other day, and when I got ready to checkout, they had to call for another clerk. Lol! I might have left with TWO huge bags of clothes, I kept throwing things into the cart. You’ll see those items soon, but today I’m showing you how to pick out clothing and make an outfit.

I usually try to find one item and build the outfit around it. The item for this collage is the Double-Breasted Mocha Plaid Blazer. I brought out the dark color in the blazer by adding the Chestnut Squareneck Tank. The Bootcut Dress Pants in Lt Taupe blends nicely with the blazer, and the Cream Leather Mule with the chain accent will look great. You can wear the mule with dress pants, jeans, or shorts since it is versatile. Finally, I added a pair of Champagne Colored Sunglasses and a Satchel Bag in a mushroom color.

I love wearing a column of color with a statement third piece. The Tropical Kimono will look beautiful over the White Tunic Tank Top. To create the column of color, I added a pair of Pull-On Bermuda Jean Shorts in white. The White Thong Sandals will keep the column of color going, and the Satchel Bag in Misty Rose and Rose Oversized Sunglasses bring more color to the look.

I love versatile clothing that can be styled in more than one way. This Off-The-Shoulder Puff Sleeve Top will look gorgeous with the matching High-Low Tier Skirt. If you aren’t comfortable with the Off The Shoulder look, then let the top sleeves stay up instead of pulling them down on the shoulders. I added a pair of Blue Drop Earrings to show off the shoulders, but I kept the Satchel and High Heel Sandal in white.

There are so many events to celebrate in Spring and Summer. I love wearing a pretty dress to these events, and I found several that I liked. I loved the dainty blue and white floral print of the Draper James Tiered Maxi Dress. The Crochet Trim Maxi Dress and the Rainbow Striped Tiered Maxi Dress would have been perfect for my beach vacation. Peasant Style Maxi Dresses are huge this year, and I love the Plumeria Teal print of the one above.

This is what makes an outfit; the accessories. Accessories finish the look, and they can make it look polished and put together. I kept all of these accessories neutral so that you could wear them with multiple outfits. The items are from left to right and from top to bottom.
