DO YOU NEED A DENIM JACKET
I am writing this post a few days in advance in hopes that I won’t have to stress about posting while I am in San Francisco. If everything went as planned, I am already in SF, and I am probably still a little bit jet-lagged. I usually don’t have an issue with that, but with a 3-hour time zone difference, you never know. Flying coast to coast is challenging for someone who isn’t a fan of flying. Ugh.
I went and downloaded three of four books to listen to on Audible. Listening to those should keep me entertained for a little while. The flight doesn’t leave Charlotte, NC until around 6:30 EST so we will be flying in the afternoon. I hope to grab a few zzzz’s which would be unusual for me because I am a control freak and can’t relax enough to sleep. I find it comical that I can’t sleep because I need to be awake in case something happens. It isn’t like I could do anything even if there was a problem and I would probably rather even sleep through it. Joe tells me that I am an Ostrich and I want to stick my head in the sand when things are not going as planned. I have to agree with him, (don’t tell him that) because I don’t deal with conflict or problems well.
Do you have a denim jacket in your closet? I hope that you answered yes to that question because they are so versatile and you will be able to wear them with almost anything. I am wearing a medium wash jacket from Old Navy that I have had for years. A denim jacket is a classic, so you will be able to keep it year after year without it going out of style. Here is the link to mine but I see that they only have the size XXL in stock, so I am going to link to a few others also.
I added these lightweight diamond shaped earrings called the Daylan to the look. These are natural wood that has an intricate design cut in them to create a beautiful look. I added the Frankie magnetic bracelet that has a small touch of leopard print also. You can never have too much leopard print. Lol! Instead of adding a necklace today, I have on an infinity scarf that I bought last year at Cato Fashions. I love scarves, and I pick them up all the time. I look for colors that I like and different prints.
These pants are reversible. On the other side of these pants is a reptile print, so you are getting two pairs of pants for the price of one. These pants were c/o of Women With Control from QVC, and I first style them (with the reptile print) here. I love the Olive color of these pants, and I thought they looked great with the mustard tank top and denim jacket.
These ankle boots (here) from Old Navy are a pair that I wear all the time. I like the light neutral color and also the block style heel. The boots are even made out of water and stain repellant fabric. Wow, I didn’t know that, but I have had them for a couple of years, and they still look great.
Today I am being taken on a tour of the Rodan + Fields headquarters while I am here in San Francisco. To say that I am excited, nervous, and freaking out just a little would be an understatement. How did this all even happen??? I feel like a broken record every time I share with you my love for this company. Lol!
Because I am in San Francisco, or maybe because I am light-headed from the idea of getting to tour the R+F headquarters, I have decided to have a giveaway for a FREE Active Hydration Body Replenish. This is an Ultra-hydrating body moisturizer for noticeably softer, smoother and more nourished skin. I left mine at my mothers over the holidays, and I have been so dry and itchy that I had to borrow one from my EBF until mine can come in. You NEED this in your life. LOL!
Comment below what is the R+F product that you would most like to try. If you have used R+F before, then what is your favorite product if you can choose just one.
