DO YOU HAVE A ZEST FOR LIFE

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a red blazer and a tan sweater with cuffed jeans and red pumps Have you heard me talk about my workspace area? For over two years, I have been sitting with my laptop on my kitchen table working on the blog. That means that my kitchen table is always cluttered and a mess. If someone wants to sit down to eat, I have to start moving things around and make sure they have a space to eat. I am getting sick and tired of the constant clutter.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a red blazer and a tan sweater with cuffed jeans and suede loafers So, I have been purging for a while and getting rid of things in what I call the “big room.” This room was a two-car garage that we converted into a den area years ago. But then the kids took it over, and later it became the junk room once the kids left home. I plan to put a desk area in one corner, a place to take indoor photos, and do my try-on’s in another corner, and on the opposite wall will be our treadmills and rowing machine. The middle was left open for putting down mats to practice yoga if we ever felt the urge.

Last night, Joe came through with his golf club and said, “I think that I am going to use your room to practice my golf swings.” “Oh, no your not!” That might have left my lips before I thought about what I was saying. “You have your garage for your things, and I want to have a space for me.” Come to find out; he only wants to move a four-foot square piece of turf in the middle so that he can practice swinging his club for a few months. I can live with that, as long as he doesn’t knock me out with the club. Lol!
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a red blazer and a tan sweater with words that mean zest for life I know that you are probably sick of seeing me wear red, but since it is Valentine’s Day, I think it is a law that says I must. Honestly, I didn’t plan to wear red again, but it seems to have worked out that way. I purchased this blazer with the intent to wear it with this sweater, and it looks every bit as good as I thought it would. The red blazer is the same one that I wore here, so you can already start to see how many different ways that you can wear the jacket. The jacket looks almost coral in these photos, but it is a true apple red. I am still adjusting to Lightroom, so give me a couple more days to figure this software out. Lol! Here is the link to the jacket.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a red blazer and a tan sweater with Joie De Vivre which means zest for life I love this sweater!!! No, tan is not the best color for me, but with the addition of the red blazer, it works. I could also add a shirt under the sweater to add a different color next to my face to change the effect. I bought a lightweight denim shirt just for that purpose. Joie De Vivre means zest for life. I hope always to have a zest for life, and I want to exude it in my attitude, so I might as well exude it on my shirt also. Lol! I am wearing a size medium, and I love the way that it fits. If you have a zest for life also, then here is the link. Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a red blazer and a tan sweater with Joie De Vivre written on it and cuffed jeans and red pumps My jeans are some that I have had for over a year. I like the built-in cuff because it means that I am not having to try and make sure that they are cuffed evenly. Also, I like how it shows off your heels or flats. I am linking to some cuffed jeans below, click on the photo to be taken to the website.

I wanted to give you the look of the outfit in heels and flats, so I chose these red pumps from Michael Kors. I wasn’t sure that I would like a pair of red shoes, but I love wearing them. They make you feel pretty, and who doesn’t want to look pretty? I am linking to some red shoes below, click on the photo to be taken to the website.

I just bought these suede loafers by Born the other day, but I have already worn them several times. I love the braid detail across the toe, and they are very comfortable to wear. They are leather with a cushioned insole, and they have a rubber bottom. Here is the link to the ones that I am wearing. I don’t do a lot of Pinterest saving but I did these two looks.? I remember buying red booties wondering if I was crazy. I have enjoyed them each time I’ve worn them and have since invested in more red shoes.

I felt the same way about my red boots, and now I love them. I also felt like that about a pair of yellow espadrilles, and I have almost worn those out. Lol!

I’ve been following you on Pinterest recently. Unfortunately I’m not a fan of red. My go to basics are navy and charcoal. I’m looking forward to seeing your spring sandals. Happy valentine day.

  9. I really like the sweater, but am not too sure about the color… I’d have to give some thought to wearing something else with it like you have.
