Affordable Dresses From Kohl’s For For All Your Spring Events

It seems like spring is filled to the brim with lots of events. Easter and school graduations all happen in spring, and there seem to be a lot of weddings and showers around this time of the year. I don’t know about you, but I love any excuse to dress up, and these affordable dresses from Kohl’s will be perfect.

Many of you have asked for shorter dresses since I tend to style a lot of maxi and midi dresses. Today you’re getting your request with these three gorgeous dresses.

I love this Tiered Satin Shirtdress in Very Black. The dress is also available in leopard print in a beautiful blue color and a green floral print.

The satin material of the dress feels lovely against your skin. I love the flirty look of the dress, and I think it looks so feminine.

Here is a close-up look at the leopard print. You can see how it shines in the sun. I’m wearing my usual size large, and it fits perfectly.

I chose a cream Shopper Tote Bag for this look. The cream looks more ivory to me, and I like how it stood out against the dress. Did you notice the gold beaded detail at the top of the bag? It is details like these that I look for in clothing and accessories.

My, my, my! This dress is so chic! Even though the dress is understated, its elegance shines through.

This dress is by Vera Wang, who was also the designer of the black leopard print dress above. Vanilla Ice is the color of this dress, and it is also available in black. I have several black dresses in my closet, but none of this lovely ivory color.

The dress looks as amazing as you walk away as it does when you arrive. The banded waist gives the dress shape and helps to create curves. I’m 5’6″ tall, and this dress hits me right below my knees. The large was a perfect fit, so the dress runs TTS.

I added this white satchel to the look. The satchel is not the exact shade of the dress, it is more white, but I still think it goes together fine.

The green eyelet dress is the most casual of the three dresses. This dress is also the one that looks the most springy, and the green is so pretty.

The cotton/polyester fabric is lightweight and will be perfect for spring. I love the flattering fit of the dress; however, the large is a little too big for me. A medium would have fit me better, so remember to consider that when ordering.

Here is a better look at the eyelet design.

I’m carrying the same Vanilla Ice tote bag as before.

The Nine West leather heels are a perfect neutral that can go with almost anything. They have a smaller heel than I usually wear; it is 2.4″ and is more like a kitten heel. I love a pointy-toe shoe since it elongates your legs and helps you to look long and lean. These run TTS, and I’m wearing my usual size 9.

Kohl’s has lots of different styles of dresses for this spring, and you’ll be able to find just the right one for your next event. Be sure to let me know which dress you like the best. Here are a couple of other dresses that I have ordered.

  3. Angela Covarrubias says:

The Eyelet Knot waist dress is so pretty! I may have to buy it in blue. Thanks for sharing.

  4. MaryCarol says:

Love the first dress you’re modeling and the heels. I really need to find some nude heels that don’t hurt my feet. (Don’t I sound old? Lol!!)
Great spring colors in all of your choices.

  5. Thank you for so many wonderful ideas! You are truly an inspiration! Any chance you are going to do a post on sleepwear or robes for summer?

    1. Lisa, that sounds like a wonderful idea. I’ve done them in the past, but it has been a long time.

  6. Karen Lunde says:

Glad you feature Kohls – they have great buys! Thank you!

  7. The white dress is stunning and such a good price point!

  8. I only own 6 dresses. I love dresses but it’s hard for me to find a dress I like. The styles are either too young or too old for me. I don’t like my varicose veins in back of my knees so no short dresses even though my legs look better in them. I prefer a long midi just above my ankles. Midi’s that end at my calves are not flattering on my short legs.

I like the cream dress the best if it was for me. The other two are cute and you look good in them.

  9. Roberta S says:

Thank you for the beautiful selection of dresses..

  10. cute, cute, cute. Enjoy your time.

  11. I like all of these dresses!! I have ordered the green one and thinking about the other two.
    Thank you!

  12. Thank you for focusing on shorter dresses. I would like to know why your preference is for longer styles. Is there a reason at our age we should consider maxi or mini length?

    1. I’ve just always loved midi and maxi dresses. Maybe it is because they are usually flowy, or maybe because I have a lot of age spots on my legs. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  13. YES MA’AM, YES MA’AM!!!!!!!! Loooooove all three of those dresses u modeled today AAAAAAAND the Lauren Conrad & Nine West dresses at the bottom of ur post! THANK U FOR THIS POST!❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗 U R FANTASTIC!!!!

I do hope that your flights were filled with nothing but calmness. MIT seems way too many people are blowing a gasket on airplanes these days.
