TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE

50 IS NOT OLD | Let's Take A Trip DownWell, the whining is not over. I am still down for the count. The neck is a constant pain, but at least the throat is not sore. Remember there is always a bright side somewhere, sometimes it is just hidden really well. I have two new prescriptions that I am trying now, but until they take effect, I am just miserable. Prayers are appreciated. Today’s post will be a recap of previous posts. Maybe you might have missed them, so bare with me for the next few days, and enjoy a trip down memory lane.50 IS NOT OLD | TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANEBlanket Wrap

Hard to choose, BUT if I had to pick one, it would be the Simple and Casual. Love the elegant simplicity of it all. (Who would have thought jeans and a white shirt could make such a ‘statement’!) Love the funky red boots, love the red wellies as well! Love the Stella and Dot bag (it’s my own personal favourite bag.) This outfit I could probably ‘do’ myself!!

I am excited about your shoes on the first picture – they are awesome!
Btw. may I have a suggestion? Do you think it would be possible to create a link-up not only through your blog, but also via Instagram? I am sure not all your readers have fashion blogs (like me, haha), but maybe like to share their outfits on other social media. What do you think?
Have a nice day and greetings from Switzerland! xo

I like all of the posts, but will pick Life in the Fast Lane because you inspired me to change my whole wardrobe! I found you through a Pinterest search. I wanted a different style aesthetic, but not look like I had bought clothes at Forever 21. I pinned over 100 pins of any fashion pin I liked. When I went back through my pins, I realized that most of the pins featuring pants, and especially jeans had ‘tighter legs’. That was it! The jeans and pants I have are wider legs and since I wear very loose tops, there was no definition or shape-just a big rectangle. While my size (and my preferences) will never allow me to wear many things you small ladies can, I did rework my closet. (My charge cards,Belk and Clark, b.o.c shoes and Salvation Army thank you). I have compliments more often and asked daily if I’ve lost weight. Nope; you can just see me and not a mass of loose clothing. Carry on and Thanks for the Inspiration!

Good Morning Tania…..I have thoroughly enjoyed walking down memory lane. I needed the post about how to pose for a picture 🙂 I honestly feel your pain. Over a year ago I had a pinched nerve in my neck and in my back. I was in excruciating pain. I do not lay around much however during this time, I had no choice in between working and taking care of my children. I had never been to a chiropractor in my life until then. I went regularly for approximately 6 weeks and it helped me so much. Please don’t feel guilty if you cannot do your normal routine, etc. The main thing is “to listen to YOUR body”…..as you know it best. I am praying for you. Also, by the way, thank you so much for my gift. ~Lisa~?

Since I am a newcomer to the blog, I not only enjoyed the “trip down memory lane” and the different outfits, I took the opportunity to peruse some of your other blog posts and loved them! I think my favorite was “What to Wear for Valentine’s Day”. I liked this post because you showed the outfit three different ways – the dress, and then the dress with two different jackets – and how to change it up a bit. I would love to see you do more posts like this….to give us an outfit and then ways to accent it, change it, spice it up a bit! I am SO enjoying your blog, especially as we are getting ready to transition to fall!

I love seeing your outfits and I love the fact that you are not afraid to put your self out there – good for you !! ALL of your outfits are super cute and creative , so it is hard to pick a favorite but if I had to I would pick pink and yellow . I don’t know if you ever noticed but pink makes your skin look awesome and it just glows when you have it by your face . Check it out and you’ll see what I mean . I appreciate your blog and I like your attitude ! Keep on keepin on gurl !!

  53. Hey, Tania, sending you best wishes for a speedy recovery! 4/29/16: Blue, White & Floral is my favorite entry, because it’s just an adorably fun spring outfit and you give a view from both sides, which I know you don’t like to do! But I just kind of randomly picked this one, since I like the vast majority of your outfits! I’m also partial to the entries in which you’ve talked about friendship, and when you tell us a little more about your real life in Grundy. I work at home, but I try to tell myself not to schlep around all day — I have to get gussied up like Tania! I’m the flooded girl in Florida, still laughing about my concern for your trip. ;0) Have a great day & I sure hope that neck feels better asap.
