My goodness, it’s like someone flipped a switch in me, and now I am spending tons of time on Pinterest looking at fall fashions and fall decorations for my front porch. Am I the only one who has gone into “fall mania?” I need to be trying to come up with some outfits for me to wear in Nashville in a couple of weeks, but I can’t get fall fashions off of my brain. I am afraid that it is still going to be extremely hot in Nashville in the middle of September, so I don’t have any plans of wearing oversized cozy sweaters, which is exactly what I want.
This time of the year is always questionable. You can plan on it being hot, and you might arrive to chilly temperatures. I do plan on taking a sweater with me to wear in the mornings and also inside the Music City Convention Center. You never know at these type functions if it is going to be so hot that you can’t breathe, or if the rooms are going to be growing icicles. Layering is going to be my friend for this situation. I don’t want to layer with anything too heavy because I don’t want to be carrying around a jacket or a heavy sweater. I hope that you will follow along with me during that time. You will want to see my fashion, as well as meet some of my friends.
This sleeveless sweater has the cutest open-weave yoke. I love the fact that it is sleeveless because that makes it easy to layer under a blazer or a jacket. I will continue to wear this sweater all year round, not only in the spring and summer. I am wearing a large in the sweater, and it fits me perfectly. Here is the link to the website. Also, I think this color is a perfect neutral. I wore this earlier where the entire outfit was neutrals. Today, I wanted to show how lovely this sweater looks with darker colors. AND, it is still on sale, so be sure to check it out.
The only added the Lenora necklace and an earring to my outfit. My thought for this outfit was a relaxed and stylish look. So, I grabbed a showy necklace and figured that was enough jewelry. When you have a statement piece of jewelry, like this necklace, then you want to let it shine and not have it competing with other jewelry items.
This pair of loafers will be going to Nashville with me. I will have to do a ton of walking while I am at convention. Last year, I wore heels, and I have learned my lesson. I still want to be stylish, but comfort is the biggest issue for me this year. The answer is these Michael Kors monogrammed loafers. They are one of the most comfortable pair fo shoes that I own, and they look great with pants, shorts, or dresses.
Distressed jeans are my jam. I love how they are stylish without looking stuffy. I know that is not the same thoughts for some of you, so replace the jeans with a pair that suits your personality. I guess this tells you that I am a worn-out and a distressed woman. Hahaha!
