50 IS NOT OLD | A SPA DAY IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR HOME | FASHION OVER 40QVC is compensating me for the review, but the wording and opinions are my own. I love skincare! I think most of you are already aware of that fact. I also love going to the spa, where I get pampered from head to toe. So when QVC asked me if I was interested in trying the Elemis 24/7 3-piece collection, I was thrilled. My friend goes to a spa every year when she is in Puerto Rico on vacation. She and I have discussed some of the skincare that they use at the Spa, and it is by Elemis. The idea that we could have Spa quality products in our bathrooms intrigued me.

50 IS NOT OLD | A SPA DAY IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR HOME | FASHION OVER 40The 24/7 3-piece collection is comprised of a Gentle Foaming Facial Wash, a Nourishing Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil, and the newly launched Refreshing Peptide4 Adaptive Day Cream.

50 IS NOT OLD | A SPA DAY IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR HOME | FASHION OVER 40I started with the deeply purifying Gentle Foaming Facial Wash to remove all of my makeup. It worked great, and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth.

50 IS NOT OLD | A SPA DAY IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR HOME | FASHION OVER 40Next, I tried the Peptide 4 Adaptive Day Cream. This is a daily moisturizer and primer for the skin, and it leaves it with a satin-matte finish that never feels dry. It absorbs excess oils, blurs the appearance of lines/wrinkles, minimizes the appearance of pores, creates a shine-free face, and provides a beautiful satin-matte finish. I like how this daily moisturizer adapts to your skin’s needs, keeping your complexion looking balanced and smooth throughout the day. The day cream is formulated with nourishing honesty seed oil. If you have never heard of honesty seed oil, you are not alone. I had to research it, and I found out that it is grown on a small English farm and only harvested once a year. The seeds contain fatty acids which help deliver a luxurious skin feel.

50 IS NOT OLD | A SPA DAY IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR HOME | FASHION OVER 40Finally, I finished with the Nourishing Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil. This is the product that I was slightly worried about trying. I saw that it was formulated with night scented stock oil, and I was concerned that the smell might be too overwhelming for me. However, it was a light scent, and I found it very pleasant. Like the honesty seed, the night stock seeds are harvested once a year, and they contain omega-3 ALA to help your skin with softness and for a more youthful appearance. I applied two pumps of the cream-oil to my face and went to bed to let it repair and revitalize my skin.

50 IS NOT OLD | A SPA DAY IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR HOME | FASHION OVER 40If you would like to have a spa treatment every day, then you will want to try the 3-piece combo set. If purchased separately, the price would be $158.00, but you can buy this set for $59.00. That is an amazing deal since the Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil is $59.00 by itself. To fully experience the spa treatment, you might want to add a few additional products.

I enjoyed these products and how my skin felt after the first use. For those looking for a luxurious spa experience, this is a great alternative at a fraction of the cost.

  1. Haven’t tried the Elemis products yet. Are you still a consultant for R&F?

Thanks, Shannon, for commenting. Yes, I am still a consultant, but I try to keep an open mind when it comes to skincare. My audience is diverse and has a wide variety of skincare needs. I am thrilled to be able to bring options to you across different price points, especially ones that are as nice as Elemis.

  2. I have had several facials with these products and I love the difference I see to my face. I will buy these three. Thank you!

Patricia, someone else told me that they had facials using these products and that they saw a difference also.

Good morning, Dianne. I received the products last week, and I am still reviewing them. Elemis has great reviews, so I can’t wait to see my results.

  3. That was my question as well. How does it interact or compare with Rodan and Fields, since you represent that line?

    • Tania Reply

Jeanne, I can understand the confusion. I wanted to be able to do a review of this skincare line since I had heard some great things about it. I have favorites when it comes to shoes, purses, and clothing, but I still try other lines to see how I feel about those also. However, you can’t compare the two different skincare lines, it is not apples to apples or oranges to oranges. I will be continuing to use the facial wash in conjunction with my RF.

I recently was on a cruise ship and the spa used this product. I bought the body scrub because it was such a light exfoliating gel, not like others that harsh and scratchy. I would recommend trying this product as well.

Carol, thanks so much for sharing your experience. The scrub sounds really amazing.

  5. I bought several Elemis products after having a facial on a cruise. I loved it. When I ran out, I couldn’t decide if I wanted to order more. But, when I saw the deal that you offered, I couldn’t resist! Thanks so much!

I have had several ladies mention that they have had facials using the Elemis products. A lot of spa’s use this line of skincare, and now we get the opportunity to use the same products at our homes. I am sure that you will love you items.
