The trip yesterday was so smooth, well most of it was anyway. The landing into Los Cabo was HOT, and he hit the ground pretty hard. That was a wake-up for most of us. Lol! Since we left the hotel so early in the morning, there was no traffic, and the trip to the airport was incredibly quick. Then, we got our luggage checked in, and miraculously, the suitcases were under the 50 lb. limit. That is probably a first for me. Lol! Joe has accused me of packing the kitchen sink before.
Once we arrived in Dallas, we caught the shuttle service to our next gate. We walked up to the gate, and they were already starting to board. I barely had time to take a quick potty break before we boarded the plane. I noticed this gentleman behind us in a long, very ornate coat. I told Joe that I bet he was the Prince who keeps trying to friend me on FaceBook. Joe was not amused and told me that a Prince wouldn’t be flying coach. Joe and I like both like to have aisle seats because you don’t feel so confined. I got to snicker at him when the seat next to me got left empty. Haha! I told him that I was saving the seat for Prince, but alas, he never showed up. Lol!
I have been looking at dresses lately. Easter is coming soon, and I like getting a new dress for Easter just like I did when I was a child. I wish that I had a picture of my sister and me dressed in our Easter attire to share with you, but let me put it to you this way…I don’t get any of my fashion sense from my mother. Lol! I am sure we were in something double knit and matching. Thank goodness she never dressed me in a bonnet. I didn’t look good in hats even as a child.
How nice is it that I happened to have the perfect pair of earrings for this dress? These blue and gold raffia tassel earrings are from MudPie, and HERE is the link. My two gold bracelets are the Lelani and the Mary Ellen. The Lelani is the link bracelet, and the Mary Ellen is the tassel bracelet.
This blue and gold dress is perfect for where I live since those are the High Schools colors. I am surprised that this dress was still in the Cato’s store in town, much less on the clearance rack. Lol! I paid a whopping 13.99 for this jewel, and even though this isn’t going to be my Easter dress, it is still a pretty dress made in a flattering style. I wish the dress were a tad bit shorter, but not enough to bother with having it hemmed. This is a shift style dress, probably one of my favorite styles, and the gold colored stripes at the shoulders help to give me curves that don’t exist. If you have broad shoulders, then this look probably wouldn’t work for you. The strips on the shoulders bring your eyes outward, therefore making my waist appear smaller. The stripes at the hem bring your eyes downward and give the dress a cohesive look.
Because I do like matchy matchy, I added a pair of platform wedge espadrilles by Gili. These shoes are a couple of years old, but I love the unique detail of a gold chain in the platform so much that I can’t part with them.
One of the great things about a virtual business is that you can work from anywhere with a wifi connection. Today, I can message, email, or talk to my teammates and customers. But, I can do it on my time frame and when it works for me. Rodan and Fields just announced this super cute Spring gift set. It contains two of my favorites products, the multi-function eye cream, and the Intensive Renewing Serum. This is such a cute gift, and it comes with a Wake Up Fabulous sleep mask. Mother’s Day will be here before you know it, so think about the set. Here is the link.
Also, I think you already know, but just in case you have been living under a rock, I am in Los Cabo because I earned this trip from Rodan + Fields. This amazing company rewards you for your personal efforts, as well as the efforts of your team. Many of you have been curious about the business end of R+F since it is evident that the products work. This week, there will be a FaceBook Virtual Event the 4th through the 7th, with different ladies going live and giving you some excellent information. AND, yours truly will be closing this event on the 7th, so I hope that you can watch to support me. You know that public speaking is extremely out of my comfort zone. And, the timing couldn’t be more perfect since R+F is offering a sign-on incentive for new consultants who enroll with a business kit or a custom kit (message me for details on this one). An AMP MD system, retailing 227.00, would be yours! WOW!!! Here is the FaceBook group that you can join to hear more about this company. Also, if you would like more info, just send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we can hop on the phone.
I do encourage you to please sign up for my daily emails so that you can click on the link and it will take you straight to the post. No more having to remember to type in the name, etc.
