Usually, I get to spend a lot of time with my granddaughter, Emersyn, because she lives next door and because she thinks that my house if fun. Honestly, I have no idea what she finds fun at my house since we don’t do anything special. But, her little brother hardly ever comes to visit, at least not by himself.
Little man is a mama’s boy. He loves his mom and doesn’t want out of her sight most of the time. My son messaged me last night to see if I could babysit little man while they took Miss E to the dentist. I was thrilled but also a little bit apprehensive because I wasn’t sure how he would react. Then, this morning, my son messaged and told me that little man was also sick with a cough and runny nose and said that he wasn’t feeling great. I was nervous after hearing that. I could see him crying for hours which would make his nose run worse and then he would start coughing. Why do we always conjure up the worst-case scenario? None of that happened? Instead, he was an angel and sweet as he could be. Miss E is a little spitfire, but little man is so laid back and quite. They are as different as daylight and dark. The funny thing is that they are just like my Ashleigh and Joseph. She was the oldest and the spitfire while Joseph is the laid back and easy going one. I guess there is another generation of Stephens’ carrying on the family tradition. Lol!
Today, I am styling another old outfit. The top, pants, and shoes are items that I have had for at least a year. But, I am adding a few accessories that will freshen up the look and help it to look alive and vibrant. This simple short sleeve sweater in probably 5-7 years old, but I still like the bright color, so it somehow stays in my closet when I go through purges. Lol!
