It just struck me today that I have a hectic couple of weeks coming up. On Friday, Joe will be celebrating his birthday! On Saturday, we are heading back to North Myrtle Beach for a week (or more) for a little relaxation. Then on Friday and Saturday, the 22nd and 23rd, I am traveling to Dunn, NC, to host an event for one of my blogger friends and business partners, Beverly from BandBblog. If you live close by, be sure to check out the flyer at the end of the post, and come out and say hello! The crazy part is, that is not all that I have in the works. Whew!
The next week I have to start packing because we are leaving on the 2nd of April and heading to Los Cabo, Mexico. I have to try and get some shopping done before I head off this weekend, I need a couple of things to take with me to Cabo. The first night there, they will do an event of some type, welcoming everyone. The theme is “tropical disco.” I don’t know if your mouth dropped open like mine did when I saw that theme, but, what the heck? I am at a loss as to where to even start looking for something. I keep seeing John Travolta in my mind, and I don’t know where to get the tropical part. If that isn’t hard enough, the last night’s theme is Desert Cocktail. 😳
The weather is warming up nicely, so I thought that I better put this post up before it is too late. I styled a bomber jacket the other day, (here) and I thought you might like to see an ivory version today. I have had this jacket for a couple of years, but I hardly wear it for some reason. I like the bomber jacket style, but I think the neckline is what throws me off. This jacket is faux suede, and it is soft. My jacket is from Cato Fashions, and even though they don’t have this exact jacket, they do have THIS one that is faux leather and has the unique detail of a tiny ruffle along the hem. It is adorable; you have to check it out.
I have a thing for nice handbags. I might have mentioned that before, they are my Achilles heel. I recently bought this one when I went to North Myrtle Beach the other day. I blame it on my friend, Lilliana, because she encouraged me. Lol! Isn’t that what friends are for? She is a Burberry lover and has a lot of items from them. So, when I picked up the bag to look at it, she was like, “you have to get it.” It would have been rude of me to say no, right? Don’t worry, I bought this at a consignment store, so I wasn’t out a lot of money, and it is probably faux also. Lol! I don’t care; I liked the style and the pattern.
Starting from the top and going down, we have the Tessie earrings. These have turned into a pair of my favorite earrings. I love the mauve tassel and the gold circle dangles that create movement. They are not too big, but they still create a statement. The leopard print calf hair cuff is the Rochelle. It is easy on and easy off, plus it is a perfect accessory for almost any outfit. After all, leopard is a neutral.
These Italian leather boots are at least 4 or 5 years old. They are fantastic to wear, especially when it is a little chilly outside because they are lined with fur. They keep my tootsies nice warm. I purchased these at TJ Maxx, and they have been a purchase that I never regretted.
My pants are a pair of Rockstar jeans from Old Navy in a caramel color. This is a color that is harder to find in the spring of the year, but I love wearing it with navy and green. You might see me wearing these a lot in the next few months. PS: Old Navy jeans are on sale right now, so click on the highlighted link above to check that out.
And, that is a wrap. This post is now in the history books. Lol! This was a short post because the time change is kicking me in the rear. Haha! But, I did want to mention to you that I have a Facebook page set up for those who are interested in Rodan + Fields. I don’t know if you are in that group, but I am going to be having a special offer in there on Wednesday. Be sure to join by clicking HERE to take advantage of my special. Here is the online link to this store that I will be at on Friday night. Come on out to Jernigans, Beverly and I would love to meet you!
