  1. Love the large plaid open front long card I. It has a cosy winter look about it. Wish I could take you shopping with me when I go looking for my mother of the bride outfit.

    • Loved shopping with you. We do not have Target or Old Navy so have to drive 1 hour to shop there so I am thankful for The Dress Barn.

    • Look at Neiman Marcus online, no shipping charge. I ordered five dresses and returned four, free of charge.

  2. Really enjoyed your shopping video and our cup of coffee Tania ☕️ Loved the pixie trousers can’t wait to see all your new purchases on you 😁 have a lovely day.

I am thankful for T.J.Max. I am so spoiled by that store that I can hardly believe the prices at the mall now.

  4. I like the skirt and top you purchased, what a great sale price. I am thankful for Walmart because it’s so convenient (it’s a super Walmart with a clothing section while I grocery shop early in the morning) Thank you for all your tips on fashion. Have fun.

  5. I am thankful for American Eagle. I love their jeans, sweaters, bras, etc., and they always have sales!😊

  6. Thank you for the advise..I enjoyed having coffee with you this morning. Can’t wait to look around at Target for clothes…not usually my go to but think I’m gonna try it. Have a good weekend

  7. Newest one – Catos. You led me there. I like their prices and that they arrange the store by color so I can find what I’m looking for. I also like that my store is small brought that you get personal attention.

Old one – Kohl’s and Penney’s. They have a lot of basic pieces. I always wait till what I’m looking for is on sale. Love sales!!

i tried on the suede skirt and it’s really cute, but TBH it would not work in my wardrobe right now so I left it, but if you are shopping and see it, its worth a look

  9. I enjoyed seeing your shopping video- lots of cute items! I’m thankful for Old Navy and also Loft when they have a good sale!

  10. Loved the coffee chat with your shopping bag. I so want to look for that black skirt at ON. You had said that leggings and tights were the same thing as again you said you were planning on wearing leggings and I was thinking I will be wearing tights…LOL. I do a lot of clothes shopping at Shopko and Target!

Sandy, did I say that leggings and tights were the same things? They are not the same thing but they give you a similar look. Normally, leggings are thicker than tights. Leggings are like really stretchy and tight pants and tights are like a thicker pair of hose that are normally colored.

  11. Enjoyed having coffe with you this morning Tania. I’m thankful for my recent discovery of Chico’s off the Rack… huge savings!

  12. This will sound crazy…but I’m thankful there are thrift stores!!!! I absolutely LOVE searching through other people’s junk!!! As for a regular clothes store, I’m thankful for Belk and T.J. Maxx. Love your blog, BTW!!!!

  13. fun having coffee this morning! going to a city with an outlet mall for 3 days next week, cant wait! new ideas for me and for gifts!

  14. Target, TJMaxx, Old Navy, and Loft…and of course, Nordstrom when they’re having a big sale!

  15. Loved having coffee with you. I am so thankful for Catos love their set up and get ideas on how to put outfits together. Have a great weekend!

  16. Enjoyed having coffee this morning with “my own personal cheerleader”! Walmart has a lot of cute trendy clothes with their new lines of clothing.

  17. This is the kind of shopping I like. I am ordering a few things. I love your blog and I appreciate ALL the help staying fashionable at 55. Dressing nice has always been important to me. Being a widow for 5 years has been so tough, but I have managed to keep myself together and dressing nice has helped. May seem strange to some, but my appearance has always been important to me.

  18. Thanks for the shopping video. Great idea! I love seeing what other people buy, esp if they are affordable! I am thankful for Maurices clothing store, so many nice options that coordinate together. Have a great weekend!!

  19. I’m thankful for the great sale on sales at the Lucky brand store — you can stack a coupon on top of a sale there. Not everything there is for me, but I find great unusual pieces and then I wait for the right deal to pop up. Easy return policies too — I often shop on online for larger selection, and do my returns at the storefront in my neighborhood.

I’m thankful for JCPeney. I find things in the store and online. I buy only sale items though.

Love Cato! I can always find something cute and the prices can’t be beat. Very trendy.

This is why I love your blog, you post affordable clothes. Hope you have a great trip. Now I’m going to check Old Navy on line!

  23. Enjoyed your post! I had a nice cup of tea. I love thrift stores! I have found some amazing things and brand new with the tags still on! A couple of weeks ago I purchased a beautiful genuine Dooney and Bourke handbag (one in the catalog now) for $3.99 (not three hundred ninety nine dollars but three dollars ninety nine cents)! I used to be the General Manager of a major thrift store chain and let me tell you, it was amazing the things that came in. I think a lot were donated by women who were shopaholics and a lot from the retail stores themselves. To the women who say “I would never shop in a thrift store”, I say I also was in management in several stores in the mall and you would be surprised and shocked at the people, men included, that would come in and try on women’s clothing. I had one women tell me “I don’t want to try the things on until I get home and take a shower” I thought “honey you should take a shower AFTER you try them on”! I have horror stories of retail stores but will not share. Don’t get me wrong I like to go to retail stores too like Kohl’s and Old Navy but, I love going to thrift stores!

  24. I’m thankful for BJs wholesale club because I buy all of my Gloria Vanderbilt jeans there at a great discount. I’m also thankful for Glamour Farms because they have great prices and fun dresses and tops.

  25. That was great ! I love Target i can buy cute clothes for my daughter n I. Plus laundry soap to wash everything ! Enjoy your visit !

  26. You are so darn cute! I love your blog and am inspired by it every day! I love that you have showed us how to be fashionable and not spend a ton of money! I’ll admit, I used to be a “clothes snob” and would only buy from Nordstrom, Saks, or Neiman Marcus. I hate thinking about all the $ I wasted on something only worn 2 or 3 times! You’ve actually showed me how to be a better shopper and for that I am thankful ( so is my hubby, lol!) Have a wonderful time with your family!

  27. Love Catos and Belk, always can find something. Great prices-and/or coupons!

  28. I am also a thrift & cosignment shopper! Amazing deals, & a mix of brands.
I do love Von Maur & have to check out their gorgeous holiday decorations!

I love Kohl’s and Penney’s for basics. SteinMart and now Cato’s (thanks to you!!) for all things fun, stylish and very affordable!

  30. Since moving to the Pocono mountains in Pa.,(no stores anywhere under 45-60 drive) ugh!! You have me kinda into Old Navy now and they have petite!! Easy returns too! When I lived in Charlotte NC I loved Belk and Dillard’s,before moving to the mountains Pa, I shopped a lot at the Loft and Bloomingdales, always looking for a store with a nice petite section that had younger looking clothes for older folks(I’m 68) some petite sections have clothes that I feel would make me look even older and WHO wants that! Right lol….Only bad thing now my husband sees all the blue bags that come through the mail, where before I could hide my shopping trips before he would get home from work hahah!!

I bet it is beautiful where you live, Cindy. Online shopping is going to be your friend. I like Nordstrom because of the free shipping and free returns. You just have to figure out the more affordable brands and shop from those. You are going to have to have your packages delivered to work instead of home. Lol!!

Tania, you are just too Cute! Loved this blog! You did good!❤️

  32. For quite awhile now, I have bought most of my clothes from Kohl’s, TJ Maxx, Ross, and JCPENNEY. Recently, I’ve added Steinmart, Cato’s, Old Navy, and Famous Footwear into the mix. Of all of these, I’m most thankful for Kohls. A nearby independent business sells fashion jewelry at very low prices, nothing over $5, so that has been fun and has made my wardrobe much more interesting.

What I’m the most thankful for is having a patient and understanding husband 😄.

My nail salon doesn’t put names on their colors, only numbers, so I have no idea. 🙁
