A BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE STYLE FROM CHICO’S

Tropical is the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this gorgeous dress. It looks like a tropical paradise with all of the rich, lush colors, especially the vibrant reds of the flowers. I might not be traveling to a tropical destination right away, but I can at least pretend that I am in this dress.

I have always loved Chico’s clothing because it is beautiful and unique. Their clothing is bold, colorful, and it helps women express their individuality through style. This beautiful and colorful tropical dress is unique, it is different, and it is playful and fun. I would like to think that those words also describe me. Lol! I love the banded neckline which shows off my shoulders to their best advantage, and how the pleats give the dress extra movement. The dress is machine washable (woohoo!) and doesn’t show wrinkles. This is definitely my kind of dress! I usually wear a size 12 (Chico’s size 2), but with the elastic waistband, I ordered the size 1.5, and it fits me perfectly. Also, I just noticed that this is on sale for 50% off!!! Woohoo, this is your lucky day!

My waistline is non-existent. I am built like a ruler, pretty much straight up and down. I like to create a waistline if I can, and adding this faux-tortoiseshell belt to my dress did the trick. It gave me some definition, and broke up the pattern of the dress, giving it more visual interest. I am wearing a size medium in the belt for sizing purposes.

Accessories make an outfit, so I added some unique pieces to my look. I started with these beaded chandelier earrings in creamy white. The movement of these earrings brings attention to your face. This circle bag is GORGEOUS! The handbag is pretty online, it is pretty in these photos, but it is drop-dead gorgeous in person. The bag is embellished with beads and faux shells in an intricate design. I love the bamboo-like handles, but it also has a long strap (tucked inside the bag) that allows this bag to be carried as a crossbody. This unique circle bag is perfect for carrying all summer long, and the neutral colors will go with anything. This is one purchase that you will not regret.
