Yesterday was fabulous! I got to celebrate my baby boy’s birthday with him. He requested that I bake him a Red Velvet cake. You know that I HAD to make him one. Lol! I posted on Facebook that I was making him a cake and my friend Dawn commented that she thought I didn’t cook. That is a pretty accurate statement for the most part. But, I didn’t say that I “couldn’t” cook. Lol! I can….I just don’t like too. Hahaha! When I got the cake finished I messaged Joseph to tell him that it was done. He sent Emersyn and Kayla over to pick it up but he didn’t walk over. I must have looked surprised at the fact that he didn’t even bother to walk over to get the cake after I had baked it for him. I don’t know if Kayla mentioned that to him or if he just wanted to come and thank me AFTER he had a slice first, but the dog started barking because someone was outside on my patio. I had already locked the door for the night so he couldn’t come in. When I opened the door he gave me a big bear hug. Yep, that is how he wraps momma around his little finger. Lol! He pronounced it delicious!!! Just don’t look for me to start a food blog anytime soon. Hahaha! I saw a wide range of clothing today. The weather can’t make up its mind if it is going to be hot or cold and the people can’t make up their minds how they are going to dress. I saw a couple of people wearing shorts and a t-shirt and then I saw a woman in a jacket and a pair of UGG boots. Both of them were in the same parking lot. Lol! I do the layers for the biggest part with a lighter shirt and a cardigan or jacket for added warmth. I added a pair of my new earrings with this look. They are the Lena! They are a pearl stud that has a cluster of pearl drops on them. They are super cute and can be dressed up or down. I also added the Cambrie pearl necklace to the look. I love this necklace but I would not have ordered it from the website picture. I happened to see a friend wearing it online and I loved it then. You can’t get a good idea about these items from the website. I know that you are dying to know about this snow leopard print coat. It is by 1901 and it is awesome!!! It is double-breasted but that is not how I will wear it. I like the notched collar and the pockets and the length of the coat. It is pure style! I am wearing a size 12 which is pretty much my normal size in a coat. I like to give it a little extra room in case I want to wear a sweater under it. Here is the link.
